bro what even is the plot of shiver of christmas town.....is it just that finkelstein made a polar bear???? like i wanna read it so bad but also i am not paying for the traced artwork

I think dr finkelstein was supposed to invent something terrifying for halloween, but he ends up making an adorable little polar bear on accident instead. The mayor and fink are like "whelp shes a failure" while sally takes an instant liking to shiver. Lock shock and barrel are tasked with helping Christmas Town host their first halloween, but the witches distrust them and kick them out of the graveyard (since when do they have the privilege to do that??? Cant anyone go there?) , and then the kids happen to notice Sally taking care of Shiver and want to steal her for some...reason? They lock sally in a closet, bribe shiver, and take her with them to christmas town. Some plant or something she ate makes her start acting violent and scary which I'm sure is gonna be the plot of the next issue. Also, oogie's back again and he has these random ass ghouls just hanging out with him. Shiver causes some mayhem down in his lair and oogie rants about it to his bestest friend in the world, sally!

A couple things makes sense, I guess, but it's another plot taking it safe and kind of copies what other adaptations have already done.

And a good majority of the art is traced and looks awful. Dont know why!

Thomas I just watched the 2 episodes of genloss what the HELL IS GOING ONNN

STRETCH!!!!!! oh my god this makes me so happy ily /p

so what we are watching is a show being made by Showfall Media!! What is happening is that they are using mind control of some kind to made the show pg for us, the viewers, and Ranboo, our hero (the one in red).

We can see in ep2 that the filter is breaking and by the end we see that Ranboo has broken out of the control and sees the set of Showfall Media's cameras and production. It's also possible that he saw the camera WE are looking into considering he made direct eye contact with it multiple times.

Episode 3 is happening tonight at 6pm est over on twitch.tv/ranboo if you want to watch it live :0 this ep is going to have most of the horror elements in it so I'm very excited :DD

Smiler's so scrunkly are you kidding me-

*quickly double-checks what "scrunkly" is because I'm not fully up on my internet lingo of the moment* XD Well, I'm glad you like them! I deliberately tried to make them look interesting -- the dyed hair and the wacky shirts were a must. XD I particularly liked that shirt because it looks a bit like an optical illusion, and the actual roller coaster has TONS of those on various screens. And of course I had to go with the glowing yellow eyes once I saw them. :) I hope you continue to consider them scrunkly over future updates!
