Everyone I’ve met in here is great but I’ve noticed that SW fans outside of this little corner of Tumblr have the most smooth brained interpretation of Clovis and it drives me to drink.

Like, they see an arc with a character who fucks up, tries sincerely to fix his mistakes, and tragically ends up making things worse- in part because of his own shortcomings but mostly because he trusts the wrong people & systems- and they’re like: lol dumb loser. 🤪

Tl;dr: SW fans on Twitter have the critical thinking skills of a soft pretzel.

@katsdisturbed omg it's such a rollercoaster over here! We pretty much found out last minute that hubbie's transfer went through and we had to hurry and find a place to live before school starts (we get there the week it does, but we're letting them start the next week) but the place is...omg it's gorgeous and we can FINALLY afford a nice place to live. Without ultra religious conservative in-laws! Which is also...bittersweet. They’re very toxic, yes, but they do help me with the kids. Like, today, they picked up my youngest from camp bc I had a doctor’s appointment. Y’know, things like that. 

But it’s also...it’s still very surreal. Right now I’m just so busy that it hasn’t fully set in yet that I’m leaving the only place I’ve ever called home. My family and friends and support system. I love that we’re moving. I hate that we have to move away to be able to afford a decent place to live. Having to find new doctors and dance studios and art teachers...it’s so scary. I have no idea what it’s going to be like not seeing my family (my sisters, in particular) every weekend. I can’t imagine not going to see the Marvel movies opening weekend with @touchyourblood. I don’t have many friends, but not seeing my best friend, my soulmate, it’s sort of unimaginable. 

I imagine that’s why i’ve been feeling off the past few weeks. This is such a huge change and hopefully it’s a good thing but it is scary af. 

Also yes! thank god we’re okay! That close call was...omg it took 20 years off my life, especially having the kids in the car with me. You know, that dickwad didn’t even pull over when I did to apologize or even make sure we were okay. Ugh. People.
