Winter is right around the corner, the cold winds blowing against your windows are a heavy sign of that, and one of these windows is slightly ajar. You are with your partner in the living room, that has Christmas decorations all around, watching a movie. The evening seems pretty cozy for you.
However, when they cross their arms, you know what they are going to say before they even say it, so you get up and take a blanket for both of you, putting it on their shoulders.
"It's getting colder, huh?" You say it this time, making them smile embarassed, because now they know you know that they just say that for you to do exactly what you did: get up and take the blanket.
"Thanks, darling."
