I think since Lance's family has ties to the fashion industry he would be a really high fashion kind of singer, but in the Lady Gaga way

Haute couture, eccentric style, daring outfits and bending traditional fashion rules

I also feel like he'd feel more comfortable in outfits like that, as they work as kind of costumes

He can put on the stage outfit and makeup and do his hair, and for a few hours he'll become someone else

Like playing a character in a theatre play. He can be someone confident, out there, and most of all, adored

Or

Go in the complete opposite direction, where he's the "down to earth, regular clothes, can play piano and acoustic guitar, deep lyrics and dark melodies, Hozier and the likes type of singer"

But he'd also have a very soft voice when singing(with his little lisp ofc🤭), so he comes across as very sympathetic and sweet

Going back to my roots with this and bringing back Unexpected au

"Do you think anyone will find us here?" Lando's words were lost in the way that Lance kissed, keeping him pressed the wall of the little empty room they had found. It was hard to focus on anything but the way Lance was cradling his face with one hand and pining him with the other on his chest. And yet, Lando knew the team would be looking for them after that sprint race, because Lando had won and Lance had been right there with him. The fact that Lando could look over on the podium and spot Lance right there beside him most race weekends never got old. It was everything they had dreamed about in those years where the car was a struggle, and they spent nights curled up in bed going over data together to find somewhere or something they could change to get just a little bit more out of the car. Now, here they were, sneaking away before anyone could grab them for debrief to steal a few moments to get rid of the pent up energy of a race win and another good points haul before qualifying. "Stop worrying about that", Lance murmured, voice low as he pulled away from the kiss to tug at Lando's fireproofs to get his mouth on his skin, "We got time" Lando wanted to bite back at him, but his words were lost in a soft sound as Lance managed to nip at the hallow of his neck. Lando's own hands fisted in Lance's fireproofs, trying to tug him closer and wishing he could just abandon the paddock for their hotel room. "We don't have much time- fuck", Lando gasped as Lance pressed his thigh between Lando's legs, making it very hard to think of anything but Lance and the way he made him feel. "Let me take care of you", Lance whispered, low and soft, and who was Lando to disagree with Lance when he sounded like that and was leaning in for another kiss? Except maybe he should have pushed Lance back and made promises for later when they were alone, or at least checked that Lance had locked the door in his rush to get his hands on Lando because the opening while he was arched against Lance was the last thing he needed. "Oh for fuck's sake", Jenson's voice had them jumping apart as the older man stood inside the doorway, looking at them judgingly, "You couldn't have at least locked the door, or waited till after Quali?" "Um, no?", Lance laughed as he stepped away from Lando, running a hand through his hair to fix it at he looked at Jenson without a hint of shame, "Sorry, I did think we'd locked it" "We? I frickin' told you to check it", Lando hissed, cheeks flushed with embarassement but this wasn't the first time Jenson had caught them somewhere, "And stop smiling Jenson, I caught you and Seb last month at that dinner, so you can't say anything" Jenson laughed at that, shaking his head as he reached out to teasingly ruffle Lando's curls as Lando ducked away from the older man. "At least I was just trying to get through a boring dinner, and didn't have Quali in an hour", Jenson snorted, shaking his head at them as he motioned to the door, "You two better get out there because Jon is already looking for you two" "Fuck", Lando cursed, turning to glare at Lance, "This is your fault" Lance's grin was anything but apologetic.

Oh these are all so cute!!

The first one where the guy lies his head in the other guys lap, gets the sweetest cuddles and then the third guy comes in like "GROUP HUG" is so giving me like Max/Lando/Daniel with Max and Lando cuddling and Daniel being like "HEY! Me too ❤️"

Why does the kiss in the second one give off a "fuck you he's mine vibe". I can't think of a pairing but it gives me ideas of someone kissing Lando like "fuck you"

The third one with the guys on the motorbike absolutely screams my old Mafia au to me, with Lance gently touching Lando's hands while driving him around the city and Lando clinging to him all happy.

Oh 100% that last one is Nortrell and everyone is giving them side eye because "he's literally wrapped around you, and you just gave him a forehead kiss" and Max going "Yeah, so? He's my Bob. My bestfriend. He likes a cuddle"

lowkey i feel like lance isn’t strange enough to be a goalie, but he’d be a perfect defenseman. like not flashy enough as a forward, but exactly steady and solid and consistent enough to be a defenseman??? goalies have that unexplainable air about them idk and i think he’d want to be a bigger participant in the game (not that goalies are not but lance has the typa energy where he would want to be skating around), but like he does have enough defense vibes i would say defenseman > forward

Honestly anon, I share your thoughts, because my first idea when debating rewriting and expanding on my old hockey Lance/F1 Lando fic was that Lance fit better with being a defenseman than a goalie or foward.

I know Lance has said he used to play as a goalie back when he was a kid and in the peewee leagues, which is why I considered it, but he just feels more like a defensive player to me.

He just has the vibes that fit with the role, and it'd give him skate time. He would be too normal for a goalie even with his quirkes, because come on, goalies in the NHL are a little unhinged (and that's why we love them, I am going to miss Flower so much). He'd absolutely be a player that if you went for his goalie, he is going to be there in your face to stop you.

Thanks to @princelancey rewatching Lance playing with the HABs, there is a moment where Lance says he feels like a defenseman
