So our weekend away has turned in to a business trip. I'm not upset because it's been a lot of fun so far. We hired a Coastal Car Rentals truck and headed to Yapeen to collect our stones, platform and yokes and logs for the Stand or Submit Clash if the South West. Note to self (remember that next time you drive and empty 4tonne truck along Victorian roads to brace for every single hole and bump) we both hit the roof quite a few times. Once full with over 1tonne of equipment it was a breeze. We got to meet Masons Dad Andy (pictured with Scott)the other half of this dynamic duo know as Stand or Submit and saw where all of this amazing equipment is born. It was such a wonderful place and could have stayed all afternoon and just chatted with Andy and listened to his stories. We then drove back to Ballarat and stayed the night at The Mecure Hotel, we could not recommend this place enough. Tea at the restaurant Billys Bistro & Bar was equally recommendable, we had Ben as our waiter (pictured with Scott). As we head home today all thoughts from me are how the helll are we going to unload all of this equipment ha ha ( if any of our Strongman members want a good training session we will be back about 11am🤣).
