Early March 2020. Ya girl was at the Moreland Laundromat. Sleeping on the concrete floor of her cousins 2 bedroom apartment. Tired. Sad. And over the bullshit.

Present day me looking at these image’s with a word to anyone experiencing hopelessness....feeling unloved...unsupported...LISTEN...PUSHHHHHH your ass out of the situation you are in BY ANY MEANS NECESSARYYYYY!!!!! Being among people who do not elevate you, who do not understand you SUCKS!!! You are not thriving because you are not in an environment that encourages growth and flexibility. Go numb to the voices...the opinions of others and the NEGATIVE VOICES in your head!! Cancel that shit-TODAY!!

I had no clue that a global pandemic was on the way. I kept getting signs from The Divine about various thing’s...but I did not know what they meant and I did not question it...I trusted my higher self&I did exactly what it told me to do--guess what I have NO regrets best decision I EVER made...was trusting my OWN GUT!

Now all you have to do is the same...trust your intuition AND apologize to yourself for allowing others to mistreat you!

Peter Pan Had the Right Idea – Growing Up Sucks

I am seventeen years old. Seventeen years old.

I am still in high school. I still live with my parents.

And I still do not know how to drive.

I’m just a kid.

So forgive me for my words, for my actions, and for my “attitude.”

But I do not understand and cannot comprehend why you expect so much from me.

And I cannot pretend that it’s okay anymore,

Because it’s not.

I’m just a kid.

SATs and ACTs, these tests that try to tell me my worth.

You see, the problem is I have never tested very well.

I’m actually smart! No, I swear!

But all of these colleges, they don’t seem to care.

Because intelligence only matters if you can prove it on paper,

Well my generation’s intelligence is starting to waver.

The problem with education is we are taught to only value grades,

So we’re never actually taught how to apply anything.

Which probably explains why I’m so strange.

I know the material, but I don’t have the GPA.

So, no colleges want me.

Which is no big deal, no one ever has.

And I’m used to it. But it’s a problem.

If you want to succeed, then you must go to college.

How can you expect to succeed without it?

And I don’t understand why this world must require a degree to be happy

When I am just so sick and tired.

And now you’re telling me to pick a major.

You know what? Fine. Have it your way.

I want to do this, but there are no jobs.

And I want to do art, but you tell me to stop,

Because there is not place for me in this economy.

We were handed a world that was broken before it got to us.

We are screwed!

So settle for a major as long as it pays well.

It doesn’t really matter if you’re miserable,

Because money moves the world.

Hell to your happy and hell to your heart.

Welcome to reality where you’re just a machine part

Born into a death sentence where hope is a lie,

Part of a society that never asks why.

All we have to do is try to survive,

But why should we bother if we don’t feel alive?

Because if we live only to exist,

Haven’t we already died?

Because I’m seventeen years old. Seventeen years old.

I am still in high school. I still live with my parent.

And I still do not know how to drive.

But I am old enough to know that I should have to apologize for speaking my mind

And I shouldn’t have to be chastised for wanting something more out of my life,

Because there is only so much time.

And it is all so precious.

And although I’m just a kid, this is how I feel.

I hope you can respect this.
