Students must answer the question: How has PGCC transformed your life? by using any of the following art forms: prose, poetry, song, art piece, etc. The submission can be text, video or image and should be uploaded to a personal Instagram account, or the Library's Facebook, by January 29, 2018 using the hashtag #pgccscholars18.

Submissions are due by January 29, 2018.

Instagram and Facebook users are encouraged to "like" their favorite submissions. Winners will be selected and announced by the PGCC Marketing Department and Library staff via the College's flagship accounts on January 31st at 12 pm.

Participants must:

Be a currently enrolled PGCC student and registered for Spring 2018 credit courses

Mention what their major/concentration is in the text of the post, or in the photo/video

Address the question, How has PGCC transformed your life?

Use the #PGCCscholars18

Not be a previous winner of the Book Scholarship Contest

Adhere to all guidelines; failure to do so will render the submission ineligible

How's gathering students been? I've been spreading the word, and I want to know if it's helping.

It's been slow recently. I've been trying to work on the info for the refs. It's been hard. I would like help. I know how to write the blurbs and I have the info, it's just rewording it all into a concise and sensible paragraph.

Until I get the blurbs done, I haven't been trying to spread the word. I've got more people in my discord server recently since @yudidoodles shared it to some people on @melle-d's server which recently shut down, so I know I have a chance to share the contest post on there again, but I've been trying to catch up with the students I already have.

1000 students? That's a lot! Even 300 is a ton.... i mean, I suppose it's kinda realistic for a middle school. But I always pictured monster school as a smaller school... but it's you're comic so... good luck! I'll see if I can come up with some more students for you.

Heheh, yeah. It likely will be much smaller than your average middle school. Honestly 300 is the minimum to have a believable student to faculty ratio. I am well aware the amount and ludicrousy of that either number, min or the hopeful average. But hey, if the people who still have remaining slots submit more characters, we could reach double what we currently have.

In all seriousness, thank you Mia I'm slowly loosing my sanity. (Mostly boredom, I have nothing to do but draw students right now and I have practically no students to draw.)

I think while some find it narcissistic, I think it's cool you're adding your avatar as it were to the story as well, Petra. Having them there also brings up the possibility of an arch centered around the kids attempting to uncover information about the mysterious bunfoxoat.

Hehe. Yep, I guess so. Even though in universe, I’m pretty keen on not being discovered. Even if I’m a blabbermouth who can’t keep a secret, I still manage because either one, character’s are two oblivious or two, memory wipe. What I’m more about is just... Creator gang chaos. Chaos with me, Harley, Rory, Serena, Yudi, Xero, Sereoph and Aquadine.

It's funny to think Petra in comic would just be scrambling to type something to make it so the kids don't learn anything about her. Meanwhile all of us askers are also being blocked out at her choice.

Which ask blog is Quinn from?

She’s from AtDFF, however if anyone knows my other ask blog, Ask Young Chara, she might be a tad bit familar. All I can say on that front, so you’ll just have to wait and see if you can’t figure it out now.
