August 22nd to September 9th
Progress has been slow these first few weeks, as I have been reacquainted with the programs and story. I have been mainly assigned to learning Unreal, as I have never used the program before. That has taken up most of my time. However, I have been working on prototype models for a very important asset: the turnstile. How will it look? How will it be powered in the short? How will we communicate the moving light as part of the story? That has been what I have been primarily working on alongside the unreal education.
Above here is the final style we have gone with aside from our first look at it in concept art back in May:
And then the past week I have been working on said ligh traveling systems for the story so that the modelers can have a more clear view.
Thus, concludes the work so far!
