Listen Up
I hate to break up your regularly scheduled trending section, but this is important.
It’s about Blood Cancer. And I get it, you don’t want to hear about it. But just bear with me.
My grandmother was diagnosed with leukemia 20 years ago. I am 16. I just helped her celebrate her 70th birthday less than one week ago. The only reason I got to meet my grandmother is because of an experimental drug called Gleevac. She is one of two people left of the first clinical trial of this life saving drug. The others died of old age.
To help others, like my grandmother survive these terrible illnesses, you can donate. Every dollar goes towards treatment, comfort, and research for a cure.
Donate here, now, as much as you can manage, because it is a worthwhile cause that hits everyone far too close to home.
