You know what? That's it. I can't deal with it anymore. The Galaxy Cup may have caused me to drastically reduce talking about GO RUSH!!, but Ep. 101 is the last straw for me. I am DONE with YGO's Bridge era as a whole.
Between the show's dip in its overall quality, the more noticable bad writing and character reductions, the overabundance of SEVENS, and the god awful ecchi-filled GO RUSH!! and Luke-centric SEVENS manga, I have grown so aggravated with Studio Bridge. I tried to at least hold out until the series finale, but it's clear it is not happening. I'm sticking with the Gallop era from now on.
Good job, Bridge. I hope you're proud of yourself.
Yugioh’s 1000th Episode
Today marks an important part of Yu-gi-Oh History. It’s December 12 and the 1000th episode of yugioh just aired on TV Tokyo. Now since Jump Festa is coming this 19th a lot of people are excited which includes me. I was wondering if Konami and Studio Bridge will be creating a special opening just like ArcV did when Yugioh hit its 20th anniversary.
Now while the episode is enjoyable on its own. It’s kind of disappointing that the franchise didn’t even use this episode as a way of celebrating it’s 25 years of existence. Now this kind of confirms my fears that Studio Bridge doesn’t really want to be associated with the previous works of yugioh done by studio gallop. I believe that they are still tiptoeing on how much they can borrow from the previous series. They can copy the monsters and include some references here and there but I doubt they will strong enough to really redraw the characters of the original series and include them in Yugioh Sevens. Now I might be wrong but that’s just my opinion.
