This 8" tall Ford Pines figurine was my concept!! I drew the basic idea in 30 seconds during a video call with Richmond from Studio Bad Egg, and he's made it REAL with the incredible talents of Kyri45 and TheLastGoldfish Toys.
It's been an absolutely amazing process and I'm beyond proud to see him brought to life for the first time. He'll be going up for sale on the 14th of February as part of the A-Ford-A-Bill collection, alongside another limited edition 8" figure, four prints and a commemorative pin badge.
Richmond, Susa, Kyri and Kelly are amongst the most amazing creative teams in the world of indie fandom merch, and I'm honoured to work with them every single day.
Also Alex liked it on Instagram and made me go teeheehee

Ford had heard rumours of this crazy ‘Cipher Cult’ and their love of tributing the triangular menace down in California - but never dared to think the kooks would successfully tear open space-time. Or, at the very least, pop a couple of its stitches.
With a face like thunder, he took on his ‘travelling’ clothes, and dove into the portal that fizzled and bubbled away ahead of him. Whatever happened here, he was going to put it right. Preferably for the last time.
Now, he’s here in California - carrying a belt of palismans and a somewhat perturbed young frog (he’s pretty sure his name is ‘Twig’ or ‘Leaf’ or something like that.) Armed with a collection of multi-dimensional lasers, a bag of jellybeans and all manner of glyphs astride his jacket, he’s certain that if he and Bill meet again after this, it’ll be in hell…
There's still time to back this amazing Kickstarter campaign for the coolest Bill Cipher Merch ever - created in direct collaboration with Alex Hirsch, dedicated to our triangular overlord.
Here's some of the concept art and product artwork we were shown for the first time in R/GravityFalls' LIVE interview! Give it a look for huge insight into product design, what Alex Hirsch is like, and how the incredible products have been refined from sketch to creation!
BACK THE CAMPAIGN
IN APPROXIMATELY $11,000 IT'LL OFFICIALLY UNLOCK THE STANFORD PIN! I know you Tumblrites love that scientist fella. Get on it so you can have a glow in the dark pin of servitude in your possession forever.
As promised, we're hard at work progressing the collection behind the scenes, and we've just got our first render of Brass Tacks Stan! This is the very first 3D capture of our beloved Grunkle, and while a few changes are required, we're sure you'll agree he's already looking incredible.
So, what's going to change?
We can see clearly now the rain is gone...
We're going to be reworking Stan's glasses to be more accurate to his series design - we should have seen this coming really, as lineart and 'actually this is just a black frame' is always a little difficult to communicate with 3D renders. This will also make the arms of his specs much less intrusive on the lenses and frame his stubble more accurately to the show.
Who gave him toothpaste?
Stan doesn't have shiny white gnashers. Very important to get that natural Grunkle-Stank, even in his own image. Fans will know we're working off of Stan's fantasy of himself in Land Before Swine so we're using this as a basis throughout!
Stan, your tattoo is leaking.
There's a couple of texture errors on his torso, particularly on those GLISTENING ABS. This is super rudimentary and will not be present on the finished figure, so don't worry. We're working on tight deadlines and none more so than our amazing independent art team.
What's staying the same?
G I R T H
Remember - Stanley is a full 8" tall, and is going to be one broad-shouldered fella. We plan to keep those glistening, adonis-esque proportions so he's perfectly in scale with his dorky brother.
Now we've got a full view of how Stan will look, we can finalise his design. The changes we need for him are incredibly minor and don't include any complicated things like Infinity Mirrors and totally-not-real-portals-to-other-dimensions, so we expect this to be a pretty smooth journey to completion.
Never say never, though. Plenty can happen once these babies hit the factory, and we'll be sure to update you of any further changes.
Our amazing 3D Modeller Kelly is being pushed to the limits and we hope you're all as in love with her work as we are. We can't wait to see this man stand before us in the flesh.
...And it's a lot of flesh.
Remember, Brass Tacks Stan is available NOW to preorder, but you only have a few more days to pick him up! At $180USD, we're content he's plenty of man for your money.
...And what a man.

When Stan arrived at the Bad Egg studio, he was more irritated than he was excited. That triangular bozo is back and messing around with multiverse crapola? Life’s too short to spend your existence jumping through portals. That was Sixer’s thing.
He tilted back his Fez and was already about to beat the guy into next Tuesday with the tried-and-tested approach of ‘punching his big stupid eye in’, when…
Wait. No way. No freakin’ way.
He stared blankly at the silver-haired woman across the room. Sure, she’s a little - uh - harpier than he remembered ‘er, but he’d recognise that gold tooth and the snort laugh anywhere. He was already planning to kick that triangle sucker into next week - protecting the kids was second nature to him. But now his ex-wife was here?
When we were drawing out our plans for him, he donned his brass knuckles, told us we ‘sure as hell better make him look good in front of his ex’, and slid us a rather crude pencil sketch on a serviette from Greasy’s Diner.
We had to rework it quite a bit to get him uh… appropriate for sale. But this is the result. Rather than being 100% accurate to Stan himself, this is Stan in his own image.
Don't forget to follow the campaign.
