We wanted to share the beautiful dolls created by @jaisree from a DIY Devi kit she purchased from #StudioYali! #Repost @jaisree (@get_repost) ・・・ Aaaaaaaand that's a wrap!! I got done . And I so thrilled. From left to right is the order in which I started painting. I feel I got better at it ( not even close to perfect) as I progressed from one bommai to another .. I am happy with how they turned out. Have you seen a snake charmer perform? They were a common sight even in the nineties, along with monkey and bear trainers. A 1972 Wildlife Act should have curbed the practice, but it wasn't always enforced. Today, few people would make time for quaint (and cruel) animal acts and snake charming, as with all street performances, is a dying practice.
