Tips for back to school shopping!
As a side note, I am only a high schooler so I don’t know if this applies to college shopping as well.
Don’t buy materials you don’t know you’ll need: Get the bare essentials- whatever that may be for you. Personally I got a few binders, filler paper, new pens and pencils, and sticky notes/tabs. You don’t want to buy a lot, and end up not needing it or not using it
You don’t need to buy expensive materials: I cannot stress how expensive back to school shopping can get, since stores tend to bump up prices. So it’s better to buy early, use coupons, and/or look outside the designated back to school section, as there tends to be everything you need but cheaper!
Wait for your syllabus to buy the more expensive items: Things like graphing calculators, laptops/tablets, and any type of book are best to buy AFTER you see what the teacher wants you to get or is suggested for your class.
Compare prices between stores: This is another tip that’ll save you some big money, trust me.
Get what’ll work best for you: When it comes to getting items like binders or notebooks, I always say to get what you work best with, and not what’s the cheaper options. For example, I work a lot better if I use binders rather than notebooks. So, I always buy binders and filer paper.
And those are my tips! I hope these are helpful for any fellow students heading back to school soon~ Let’s all kick off this new school year right
