2022 Update

Hi everyone! It’s been a while. Just updated my fall semester class schedule in my about page!
life updates 💗
i finished my fall semester of sophomore year! it was definitely... interesting to try and balance not only my classes, but also my job and involvements on campus, along with whatever semblance of a social life i had. academically, this year was tough on me-- i pulled off (what i think, official grades come out this evening) an A, two B’s, and two C’s (all of various plus and minus statuses) which frankly amazed me, considering i thought i was in danger of failing my chinese class the entire semester.
i more or less decided that, yes, i do think i want to go to graduate school for student affairs. i still have plenty of time to change my mind/explore/do something else if i find the calling, but realistically i love what i’m doing in Housing as an RA-- i love seeing what the graduates and professionals in my life (in housing, multicultural affairs, and greek life!) have the opportunity to do, and i have support and guidance from a lot of them in making these steps.
i’m applying for jobs that will keep me at BSU for the summer. ✨ going home, whether for winter break or summer break, has been really dreadful, and i’d rather keep myself in muncie at any cost (especially if that “cost” is actually making money.) right now i’m accepted into second round interviews for orientation leader, and i’ll be applying to summer reservations team.
i’m thinking of pushing myself into more involvement with GLACURH? i’m potentially going to bid for an RBD position but realistically i don’t know if i can??? but i’d love to, holy heck. (speaking of GLACURH, i presented a program there and made top ten!!! what!!!) i’ve done so much stuff this semester, this is really just scratching the surface, but i wanted to let studyblr know what’s going on. 💖

my room still isn’t (as) unpacked (as i want it) yet, so i’m postponing some of my summer studying, like chinese review. i’d like to get started soon, but realistically, as long as i start reviewing before i have to go back to campus for SSO, i should be fine!
speaking of SSO, and therefore reslife in general, if you have any cool ideas for door decs/bulletin boards/etc. that you think my residents would like, let me know! right now i’m thinking of either an animal crossing theme or a space theme, at least for the door decs and first bulletin board, but idk.
updated my blog a little bit! my hover box now has a direct link to my original content, and a page where i post about what i’m currently working on!!
thank you for being lovely lovely followers! i’ll do something cool at 100 followers, i think! (something small because summer is expensive, but something!)
Why there’s no more original content (or just Updates)
Ok so as some of you already have read I didn’t pass this year of school. I won’t continue school so that’s why there is and won’t be any original studyblr content on my blog for at least a Year. I still don’t know what I’m going to do after this year of “break” form school. So I guess this blog will be a personal blog with some studyblr related posts I’ll reblog.
