Tips for college!
So the exams are coming and fast! I’m ending my first quarter of first year in college and I’ve learned some pretty useful things that I wish I knew and did sooner.
1) You DON’T HAVE the time. Don’t say that the exams are in a long time. Just do what you have to do when you can - the sooner the better.
2) Everyday, after your classes, put some order in the notes you took on that day. After 9hours, you forget about 60% of what you’ve heard before so check your notes to make sure everything is clear ( and/or readable if you are handwriting your notes) and maybe to highlight the things you didn’t get or are not sure about.
3) Every week-end, start making your summaries. It may seem like a lot, but I promise you, your future you will thank you for what you did. If you don’t understand or want to make sure, ask someone right away!
4) Stay healthy. Go outside once a day, go and do some sport, drink a lot of your water and try to eat healthy. It will boost your moral and it is a very important thing! And most important: GET SLEEP. Trust me on this, you are going to worship every second of sleep you can have.
5) A little every day is better than everything in a few days! Less stress, more success!
Hope this can help students in college (or not) and even future ones, because I really wish I realized it was all true all before so don’t say it’s just some cheap advices everyone gives! If we are giving these advices it’s because we experienced it and realized we were wrong.
Love, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all and I wish you a lot of success in your exams if you have some!
