Me to myself: Just because I got one bad grade doesn't mean that I have failed. I'm not ten years old anymore, my self-worth is not defined by a bad grade.

Also me: *sobbing* okay, I try to be less stupid and less of a failure next time.

i want to study like i'm crazy. i want my fingers to fly across the keyboard, clicking and typing while i learn- learn about wars less talked about, female artists never acknowledged, the history of television, unsolved murders, urban legends, the infinity of the universe- anything and everything the world has to offer me. i want to devour information like i'm dangerously starved, i want notebooks filled to the brim with scrawly words that only make sense to me. i want my knuckles and eyes to hurt from everything i know, i want to remember the obscurest of facts and strangest of stories. i want to study like i'm insane.
