Last night, I was with a friend at a coffee shop downtown. This coffee shop has so many flavors and ways to make it your own that I wanted to try all of them, but that would be unrealistic. So, I ended up with four different kinds of coffee. . . And i drank them all. I am not a coffee drinker, and so I just felt the need to have a coffee flight of various flavors (to see which one I would order again). It did not occur to me at the time that I could have ordered these drinks caffeine-free. Let me tell you, I was so hyper that I just wanted to do any sort of physical activity. I just felt like I needed to punch something and run a seven-mile marathon doing arm aerobics. My eyelids were so wide open that I forgot to blink. I went home, went on the computer, and made five whole new chapter slides for my class. I was jittering so much and singing country music aloud like it was broad daylight (it was 2:30 am). After, I started to handwrite my chapter notes on my iPad because I felt like I needed to have two copies. I also finished some homework that is not due until two weeks from now. I had class at 4pm, and i got ready at 6am, but I had some time to kill, so I started to clean my room and mop the floors. I couldn't wait anymore, so I went on my way to school and arrived at 2pm. I couldn't stop smiling because I was so excited, but I wasn't too sure what I was excited about. My professor is passionate about Speech Pathology that she tends to go fast during her lectures, and I usually have the textbook with me to follow along. Yet, today i did not need any guidance lol. I was typing faster than she could speak. I am in the library typing this post still wide awake but not as much anymore. Since i stayed up until morning, I got some excellent morning shine to take these great photos. In the end, drinking that much caffeine could have been fatal and probably detrimental to my health in the long run. But now i know that vanilla sweet cream strawberry latte is my go-to coffee drink.
