Global Word = Global Issues in Czechia
In February, we hosted the first activity of the project Global Word = Global Issues in Czechia. We will share updates and insights from the participants with you very soon.

Study Visit of the Norwegian Career Counsellors in Czechia
Project: Shaping Career Counselling Towards Students' Empowerment, EHP-CZ-ICP-4-028.
Together with our project partner, Secondary School of Gastronomy and Services, Šířava 7, we hosted 8 career counsellors from Norway coming for a study visit.
Our Norwegian partners and us are currently finishing 4 modules of activities for career counsellors. During their stay, they had an opportunity to visit several institutions related to education and career counselling, such as the Museum of Comenius where we couldn’t miss historical classrooms from the times of Comenius and later periods. The employees of the local Labour Office (Information and Advisory Centre, IPS and EURES) gave a deeper insight into the situation of labour market in the region and presented their career counselling services. In Olomouc, we visited Palacky University and their Early Dropout Prevention Centre and neighboring BALUO, a cutting-edge sports centre.
Apart from hard work, we prepared team-building activities such as tasting traditional foods, playing bowling, sightseeing, and procedures of their choice in beauty parlours at Šířava to unwind.
Mission: Reconnect and its project Digital Tools were also presented to the Norwegian counsellors.
The project is funded by the EEA Grants.
