So far in Season 5 of the Next Generation we've seen
Captain Picard forced to learn the Language of an Alien race that speaks only in specific Metaphors or be killed during one of their bonding rituals in episode 2 "Darmok"
We learn of the Bajoran/Cardassian conflict and are introduced to (That very specific cynical 90s girl Character) Ensign Ro Laren in episode 3..uh..."Ensign Ro Laren"
When The Crystalline Entity (From way back in season One's "DataLore") returns and destroys a colony, A scientist with a serious grudge against it and Data comes aboard the Enterprise. Her attitude changes when she learns Data carries the memories of Her dead son in Episode 4 "Silicon Avatar"
When the Enterprise is struck by a spatial anomaly it is rendered powerless, separating the crew. Counselor Troi is forced to make tough choices when she is the most senior on the bridge, Worf must help deliver a baby (Spoilers- He's bad at it-) Data loses his head and an injured Captain Picard must lead a group of children to safety in episode 5 "Disaster"
And Wesley Crusher returns to the Enterprise, gets a girlfriend (A Very young Ashley Judd) and saves the Enterprise from an Alien plot to enslave the Federation via an addictive pleasure inducing device in episode 6 "The Game"
In a more in depth post I'll talk about the two parter that is episodes 7-8 where we say Hello to the return of a New Foe and an old Friend in "Unification"
I apologise to all the theatre nerds, for I am not one - I just have the hots for Tim Roth and have rewatched this film almost three times within 24 hours, oops.
Soooo I'm going to "school" again for the first time in 13 years starting in September. (Simultaneously excited and Meh). It's only 8 weeks, but it's 60 hours of class plus all the homework, which I have not had to deal with altogether since high school.
Aahhh career change... Here's hoping nothing goes horribly wrong. All I want is to be adequate enough to make it. I don't need to be wildly successful or to fail spectacularly.
Quick update: 1 Reason for not doing any new prints is that I am getting a new laptop. My current one is finally breaking down (no, really, the speaker cover is coming off as the screen's hinges are coming apart from my keyboard). So, yeah for new one! 2. After many requests, I am thinking of opening commissions at the beginning of next month (June 1st). For now, only traditional (I might do digital ones later)! 3. Also, have quick drawing of Ed.
