He is not quite as old as Beary, just a few years younger.
Hairy is a very clever spider. He spins copper wire for thread, and uses it to build all manner of things. He loves mechanical machines, but not electric. They seem hidden to him. He is very sweet and loves to sit on the associate’s shoulder to see Places and do Things. He and Beary are very close, he usually sits on Beary’s head!
A few years ago, he smelled of paint and agreed to be washed, but came out Forever Changed. He has a Special Texture now, and harbors a grudge, unusual for him. He did need multi leg surgery from burns. That dryer has since been removed, with much vitriol and enthusiasm from the Collective.
