Craig was on his way to Tweek's house when it hit (and you know how quickly Things Go Bad in South Park) and locked himself and Tweek inside. Tweek, being who he is, is quick to prep them. Fills up all the sinks and baths in the house with water. When the power goes out, he and Craig eat the perishables first and stockpile the canned goods. Find suitable weapons, attire, etc
I'm gonna say i picture them being like 15-16 in this au; Craig had just gotten his license so he's their driver. Tweek can hotwire, Craig sort of questions it but not really because his bf is multifaceted and talented and amazing
Their main priorities are: keep each other safe. Find Craig's family. Find Clyde, Token and Jimmy. And get to a sanctuary, if there is one.
They have a pact that if one of them is going to turn, they have to bite the other one. They go down together. (this is very much an aisle 10 reference)
They find Stan and Kyle first at a gas station convenience store; Craig is very much against teaming up with them, for all they know, they're the ones that started this. Tweek says there's strength in numbers tho and the two duos can mutually benefit from each other: Creek has supplies, food and a car; Style has gas, experience and a gun
Stan got the gun from his Uncle Jimbo's stock; he's the only one that knows how to shoot from hunting lessons (he doesn't like it. I figure there would be a lot of internal struggle but these aren't the first zombies he's killed bc u kno, Pinkeye)
Cartman probably has made the zombies into his own weapons or into some sick sort of gameshow via Dead Rising-esque fashion. He's definitely like that

stan marsh: - he secretly loves the 80s aesthetic but doesn’t show it until he gets older- gets excited really easily and is always embarrassed about it afterwards - he has always been on the shorter side, especially compared to kyle, but was once taller than him when they were 13, only to be out grown shortly after- REALLY enjoys singing even if (he is) he’s really bad at it- took guitar lessons when he was 16 only to figure out he hated it so started playing the piano instead, he’s really good at it too!- got a job at the pet store when he was 17 and named all the animals there and treated them like his pets, he cried every time someone bought one of them.- disgusted by pepsi soda, don’t go near him with it
