Whats up goons?! Here is the art for the upcoming Closet Fairies "No Idea LP" that is at the pressing plant right now. It's a split with the great Recess Records! Originally supposed to be released like 6 years ago as a 7" on No Idea it's finally making its debut with a few more inches added on to it.
Next week the new Even Hand tape "Drifted" will be out. I'll post pictures when it's actually here.
Also coming out in the next few weeks will be the tape version of Try The Pie's "Domestication" in time for their West Coast tour that is coming up! The LP is coming out on Stupid Bag West (Salinas Records) and is a bit delayed since all pressing plants are insanely backed up.
Other things coming up are a tape for Poor Form (poorform.bandcamp.com) featuring Legs and Nate from Siren Songs. It's a re-boot of their Demo for their east coast tour.
And lastly we'll be doing a limited version of Waxahatchee's "Ivy Tripp" on cassette (LP and CD on the mighty Merge Records!!) It will be strictly limited to 125 copies with no re-press so you're gonna have to be on the ball. Normally i don't like to do limited edition stuff, but that's how it's gotta happen for this one.
That's about it i suppose. There are some other things in the works, but we'll wait til later to post that shit. smell ya later.
I feel really out of touch with what the average American shopping experience is like.
At this point I am honestly baffled by people who can shop full price in like Macy's and Nordstroms because that shit seems waaaay expensive to me for places that are supposed to cater to the "middle class." At least growing up, I remember those as places that were supposed to be widely accessible. But that doesn't seem right to me. A $197 shirt is middle class? Is it really? $350~ $500 bags, is that middle class? I mean I know how expensive shit can get and that's certainly not even near the upper range for purses or shirts, but at the same time that seems like it's a lot for someone making middle class money to drop on a bag or a top. Or is it meant for people who are more in the category of "almost upper class" or upper-middle? Maybe people just don't shop and buy things as often as I imagine?
Well, anyway, this $350 bag sure is cute.
I'm mad. I went to the store to get milk and the stupid grocery bag broke right as I got home causing the milk to break and spill everywhere. Nearly half a gallon now gone. The only ones who benefit from this are my cats they're happily licking it up for me. Stupid grocery bag.
I never understood the point of asking someone for something, but you end up doing it yourself. Why did you ask, if you would've just done it yourself anyway?
I guess I just can't deal with the practical part of life, like carrying things down the stairs...
I've had this rash now for like more than 12hours. :(
weh i need a new shoulder bag, or just a bag but i am picky about bags cause they annoy me easily and now im just searching around for a stupid bag and urgh bags
