Just because someone likes the Harry Potter series doesn't mean they're transphobic. I'm SICK of being accused of not supporting trans rights just because I'm a Potterhead and believe in the importance of physical transitioning methods. This is an absolutely stupid reason to consider someone transphobic.
I don't support what JK Rowling is advocating for and when I bought the books, I didn't even know about it at the time. I'm not even into Harry Potter as much as I used to be and the only reason I come back to it is because it brings back so many nostalgic memories to me, especially ones of when I had a huge crush on one of the characters (Tom Riddle).
If you consider me transphobic (aka a discriminator against transgender people), then that is entirely a you problem and nothing to do with me. Because it is far from true, especially that on other platforms like Reddit, I have actively spoken out against transphobia on Christian and Conservative subreddits. Done with the intention of the heart and not for the sake of looking good if you'd like to know.
