A huge pet peeve of mine is when you’re having a discussion on the internet and you suggest something - a brand or company or whatever - and someone just responds “Nope” or something similarly dismissive or unhelpful.

Because how do you respond to that? Imagine someone saying that to you irl- it’d be such a weirdly antagonistic thing to say, not to mention incredibly vague and rude. If something is wrong with the brand/company/restaurant, just say it! I wanna know if they do something bad or the quality has gone down or it there’s a better option somewhere else! If you care that much to make any kind of response, why not just say what’s wrong with them??? It’d be one thing if I was responding to a conversation that had already addressed problems with the brand and I was just not reading it - I could totally understand why someone would be like, please just read the damn thread.

Ugh, I guess what really annoys me is how rude people thinks it’s okay to be on the internet.
