Maybe I’m just feeling a bit wistful and mushy today, but I’m thinking about how much I would love to gather my fave group of fan girls from around the globe and rent a house somewhere, and spend a weekend watching our favourite RD eps and a few choice movies, eating and drinking things we shouldn’t, and cackling like witches over smut.
Tumblr's current obsession with whump makes me wish I had about 20 more hours in the day just to make fanworks about all the people I love to see beat up.
I need a spell to banish the feeling of having gone too deep in the comments with someone who was a bore. (Not on here, Reddit obviously). Or perhaps I need to reaffirm my commitment to only arguing on the internet when it’s fun/interesting.
I know a few of my followers from fanfic are on here, so I thought I’d take a break from working to give y’all an update. I have around 2k words written for chapter 15, and I have many more waiting to come out. Unfortunately, you will have to wait just a little longer, as real life is currently in the way of my writing. I was reminded last week fo the bane of my existance as a massage therapist...no, not laundry: charting. Ugh, I hate it so much, and because we have a new LMT coming on, I have to go back and edit some of my half-assed notes so they’re more detailed and understandable (since I guess not everyone can understand my short-hand). I have several dozen more to translate, but I have to have it all done by December 1st, so that is consuming a lot of my free time.
On the plus side, this means that, after my stupid doctor’s appointment on the first, I’ll be able to get back to something I actually LIKE doing. With a little luck, I’ll have chapter 15 out no later than next Monday. Fingers crossed.
