TumblrFrostbite: How do you think Ash Samaya would look in a super hero outfit?

oh geez, well i think that only two scenarios could lend itself to this. one) Ash has to cover one of the other superheroes/comes up with a distraction to draw attention away from X-Ray and Vav or two) There’s a final showdown and Ash refuses to be on the sidelines but only this once.

for scenario one, I like the idea that Ash would wear some kind of knock-off of one of the xnv superhero outfits. She wouldn’t wear their exact costume, but something like their first outfit in the pilot. 

for scenario two, hilda would OBVIOUSLY have a heavy hand in designing it. It would probably be pretty slick and filled with hidden little gadgets but it would probably be pretty heavily armoured

One of the stupidest comic creations of all time... STARDUST–THE SUPER WIZARD!!! He’s an alien with a vast knowledge of interplanetary science and is basically the most remarkable man ever. He decided upon his arrival to Earth, to fight evil-doers and eradicate all crime. His powers include super strength, invulnerability and flight. He also controls retarding rays that can slow down anything that’s in motion, thought recording, something called the delicate detecting unit which is ESP combined with super-vision and he can also transform into a car. A car. WTF?

First appearance Fantastic Comics #1 December 1939. Created by Fletcher Hanks... unfortunately.

It should be pretty obvious which characters I choose for the headcanon meme ask thing. So Hilda,Ash,and X-Ray (☾ ★ ☆ ♡ ♥♦ ☯ ▼ ♒ ൠ)

☾ - sleep headcanon

well, I mean, obviously they all sleep in the same bed when (by some miracle) they all end up asleep 1) at the same time 2) in the same place 3) together. 

but usually it’s more commonplace to find Hilda or X-Ray just asleep on any vaguely comfortable surface

★ - sad headcanon

Hilda doesn’t talk about her parents, ever. at all. In fact she hasn’t spoken to them since she left home straight after high school. A few times, Ash and X-Ray tried asking about them, but Hilda always changed the subject. 

(neither of them mentioned the small scar along Hilda’s hand)

☆ - happy headcanon

Their first anniversary, all three of them sort of agreed that they didn’t want to plan anything overly spectacular, so they only made simple plans for a nice meal. But when the three of them had returned home after that, the apartment was dimmed, with small candles lit everywhere and soft music playing and Ash’s sweet incense lit on the coffee table. A bottle of wine had been set out in a bucket of ice and three, beautifully decorated glasses had been set out alongside a chocolate cake. 

(the next day, X-Ray hugged the crap out of Vav) 

♡ - romantic headcanon

(sort of accidentally did that with the last one but oops, so I’ll just talk about the three of them)

X-Ray can be super romantic when he wants to be, but it usually takes an important event for that side of him to be brought out. Hilda isn’t really a romantic type, but she can see the appeal of it and likes to indulge herself and her partners on occasion. Ash is the most romantic out of the lot and will regularly surprise her partners with small gifts or flowers or food. 

 ♥ - family headcanon

Hilda doesn’t talk to her family. X-Ray only has his mother and his grandmother (who he doesn’t see as often) but he’ll talk to her almost every day, even if it’s just a quick conversation over the phone. 

Ash has a large family and an even bigger extended family. She has two siblings (older bro and younger sister, I like to think) and more cousins than either Hilda or X-Ray can remember. Family reunions with Ash are always fun and mortifying for Ash when her parents break out the embarrassing stories. 

♦ - quirks/hobbies headcanon

Ash is an old lady and will knit in the evenings if she’s not working (X-Ray makes fun of her until she knits him a jumper and suddenly he’s not complaining)

X-Ray plays video games religiously and has done since his teen years. His gamer score is ridiculous. 

Hilda plays video games as well (not nearly as much as X-Ray tho) but her biggest hobby is usually tinkering with electronics around the house or making small and wonderful contraptions with spare parts. 

▼ - childhood headcanon

X-Ray had a bit of a lonely childhood before he met Vav. Life post-Vav was much more entertaining for young X-Ray and the two of them used to play pretend and act out superhero scenarios until the sun went down

Ash had a natural charm about her and made friends pretty easily when she was a young girl. Her brother was protective of her but since there was only a year or so age-difference, the two of them would rough-house all the time. Ash’s younger sister was a fair bit younger than Ash and Ash loved playing with her sister and embarrassing her in front of her friends and stealing back clothes. Her childhood house was never a quiet place. 

Hilda didn’t like to remember her childhood

  ♒ - cooking/food headcanon

the only person qualified to cook a decent meal in the house is always Ash, though X-Ray can make a nice meal if he doesn’t have any distractions around him. 

(Hilda is not allowed to cook. She nearly burnt the kitchen down with a burrito)

ൠ - random headcanon

X-Ray got a piercing in his youth but never wears anything in it (it’s pretty sure it’s closed up at this point). Hilda has a grand total of five piercings about her body: four on her ears, and a tongue piercing. Occasionally Hilda will put a jewelled stud on her tongue and would stick her tongue out at X-Ray as often as she could that day. 

Ash has two lobe piercings in her ears (and got her nipples pierced when she was in university)
