Meet Paul //& Plots
I could’ve sworn I just saw FINN JONES wandering about the town. Oh no, that’s just PAUL DELACOUR. She is a TWENTY SIX year old ZOOLOGIST. They came to Stillwater because they are a PHOENIX and want to be around others like them. Some say she is ADVENTUROUS and WITTY, but I’ve heard others say she is IMPATIENT and UNRELIABLE.
Not So Quick Intro:
-Paul was born in Caen, France and was adopted by some rich witch lady from Paris. He grew up with her and her three daughters.
-Though born with magic, Paul also carried the phoenix gene, something he didn’t know until later on.
-His life growing up consisted of a strict upbringing, which he didn’t enjoy very much. When he came back from a quick vacation, shit hit the fan and his sisters told him the truth about being adopted. That, plus a bunch of other drama forced him to leave them.
-He studied zoology but eventually went on to research the existence of phoenixes. While researching in Greece he had a misencounter with a coven of witches that proclaimed to be the originators of the phoenix “curse”. They forced his phoenix gene to manifest itself and all traces of magic he once had vanished the moment he was reborn as a phoenix.
-Personality-wise, Paul is super chill and laid back and only loses his cool when his past is brought up. He truly regrets losing his magic and now having to live as an almost immortal being, but he usually doesn’t let that bring him down (most of the time).
Plots:
Phoenix Drama: This one can be interesting because I think it would be cool for him to have a run with one of the witches that turned the Phoenix gene on for him after he pissed them off.
Adoptive Family Drama: He left them after an argument that ensued after he left them for a few weeks to discover more things about magic on his own. His adoptive sisters weren’t too happy with him after what he had done and told him that true about his past which caused him to leave. Basically it would be interested if they met up again… I had emphasized they were witches but if you are interested and have a different species, I can try to change things around, I don’t mind!
Biological Family Drama: Based on the information given above, it would also be interesting for him to meet his real family. (Phoenixes or wix only).
Ex-Betrothed Drama: This is one of the main reasons he left his family, he was unwilling to marry another witch and hence seal some centuries old deal between the covens. (Doesn’t have to be an affectionate relationship, we can discuss their relationship! :])
