Stydia FTW!

Please don't read. I don't make sense but I am gonna post this anyway... Guys! This has been a battle for us since the beginning! First, it was Lydia's lack of interest and acknowledgment towards Stiles and her relationship with Jackson Second, there was a time where we all needed to watch as Lydia and Stiles's friendship grew and understand that they couldn't just be together right away. They walked two different social circles for a long time and they now needed time to develop a meaningful relationship. Third, Malia came on the show. (Not complaining love her however not a Stalia fan ) Fourth, Parrish came on the show. (Not complaining love him however not a Marrish fan) (actually, I like them as friends) (but that's it) Anyway, the point is! Because they aren't together! It always leaves room for them to get together! Stalia fans worry about them breaking up! And Marrish fans...well...I think we can see that there is def. something going on between Lydia and Parrish...even from a Stydia shippers viewpoint. However, this battle isn't over. A lot can happen this season and next. And these clues that the writers and actors leave us are something we will hold on too! If they don't get together (which I think they will) then we know...we know that ultimately we were fucked over. But nonetheless we know that they had a bond. I don't know if it's Holland and Dylan's acting or the the writing. But the bond that we see on camera in few moments we get in an episode if any moments are beautiful and subtle. I sometimes worry that people which a lot of people in other ships don't...see it the way we do. When stiles touches her in a gentle but not necessarily intimate way...we know that that was something he could never do up until they became friends You know what! I am rambling! I am going to get to the point of me posting this! No matter how much ships tears us down and call us stupid and mean and whatnot! We have a right to ship who we want! And what makes us special! Is not a lot of ships look at the small things that characters do on the show! But we do! The looks, touches, dialouge! Whatever! It always has meaning! Stydia is a meanigful friendship and relationship! And idk! I just need to put my love for their relationship out there! I LOVE STYDIA!

Stydia vs. Stalia

Okay. So, for the past year I have sat on the sidelines of Tumblr and witnessed Stalia and Stydia fans tear one another part on how the treat each other. I have also witnessed many people point out that it's not about the ship. It's about the show and the individual characters. I just want to bring a few things to light that I know many people are aware of. I first want to talk about Stiles: STILES- We all love him and there is nothing else to say. Now, I want to talk about Lydia. Lydia- Okay, we all know Lydia has been there from the very beginning of Teen Wolf so in that way we all have a lot of appreciation for her. She is one of the few original characters left on the show. However, I must ask. How did the Stalia shippers react to Lydia before Malia came to the show? Because if you always hated Lydia that is one thing because maybe you just never connected to her character and that is fine. If you were once a Stydia shipper and are now a Stalia shipper that is fine too. If you never really cared for the Stydia ship that is also fine. However, I have seen the argument that a few Stalia shippers do not like Lydia because of the way she treated Stiles in the first 2 seasons as well as in life previous to the show. Well, what I can say to that is that Lydia has her own demons. Stiles parents loved one another before his mother died and Lydia's parents can't stand one another. Obviously Lydia has a different view on love and a different way of showing it. Yes, she has had many different partners throughout the shows history...but can you honestly say that any of the relationships were healthy or built out of love? Maybe Jacksons and her relationship...but even then they had problems. Lydia honestly is just a certain personality that some of us can relate to and others can't. I don't what to say except that. Lydia should not be hated on by Stalia shippers. She has her own demons and Stydia shippers like myself can see Stiles helping her through not just her banshee and supernatural problems but maybe with the way in general how she acts towards love and relationship. Idk. (Please don't hate me) Now, let's talk Malia. MALIA- I am not gonna lie about my personality. I don't like change. It bothers me. So when Kira was introduced I wasn't a big fan. But I have learned to appreciate and love her as a character. When Malia joined I was even less impressed and it took me quite a while to warm up to her character mostly because I can't relate to her. I mean there aren't very many people in the world that can truly relate to Malia because her characters history is INSANE! Nonetheless, I have grown to love her as a character. Still, I don't necessarily want her with Stiles but for now if it brings Stiles happiness that I am fine. However, as glad as I am about Stiles being happy with Malia I also want happiness to come to Lydia. But this section isn't about Lydia it's about Malia. Stydia shippers shouldn't hate her character cause she is a part of the pack. Yes, she is one of the things standing in between Stydia happening but she isn't the only thing. Malia is an important character and I appreciate her. So, I try not to get frustrated with her As we know there will be bumps in the road for Stalia this season. That does not mean that Stalia shippers should start blaming Stydia shippers for their problems. Jeff Davis isn't an idiot. He knows what his audience wants. I think Jeff is going to try to please us on both ends. I don't know how. I mean at this point Stydia shippers are just asking for a Stydia friendship. And yes Jeff Davis so far is screwing the Stydia shippers over and I know that somewhere along the line this season the Stalia shippers will get screwed over. We have to stick together and hope for one thing. The individual happiness of each of our favorite characters.
