my guilty pleasure is that i love watching hallmark movies bc they're so stupid and fun and i also love imagining my ships in hallmark movie-esque situations but just as i was thinking that "oh thangyu couldn't really fit into the hallmark formula it doesn't really work with them-" i came across this one movie that i'd forgotten about where this celebrity is going home for the holidays and brings along her bodyguard but she tells her family that the bodyguard is her boyfriend and....... i mean i already have a bodyguard namgyu au.......
SO im thinking ab a fic where thanos is thanos and namgyu is his bodyguard and one time when thanos has a break in his tour he wants to go home and visit his mom, except his company doesn't think that's a good idea bc thanos has been extra controversial these days (bc he can't keep his mouth shut and he has no filter when he speaks.....) and has been getting a lot of hate and even some threats, so they don't want him to go far, but of course thanos always gets his way and he WILL be going home to see his mom. so the company is like "ok fine but you have to take namgyu with you."
and so bodyguard namgyu has to join thanos on his trip home but thanos doesn't want to worry his mom by telling her he has a bodyguard with him bc people keep sending him death threats on twitter, SO he tells her that namgyu is his boyfriend and they pretend to be dating for the entire visit 😋 which of course leads to them building more of a personal relationship and their feelings for each other start to deepen....... 😋
