Quilt Marking Tools I Tested 38 Quilt Marking Tools So You Don’t Ruin Your Quilt By Hailey Stitches Included Frixion pens, water-soluble markers, air-erase pens, chalk, pencils, and more—to find out which ones are actually safe to use on your fabric and which ones can ruin your quilt. I put each marker through real-life tests on light and dark fabric, including heat and washing, so you can mark your quilt with confidence instead of fear. If you’ve ever worried about permanent lines showing up at the worst possible moment, this beginner-friendly quilting experiment will show you Quilt Marking Tools exactly what works and what doesn’t. The winner was Sewline Styla Water Erasable Fabric Pen, watch the video to find out why.
I want mor opera house stuff but can't think of a specific question sooooo
here's your excuse to ramble about anything opera house related (i lied slighty. as i was typing this i realized we don't know a lot about styla so maybe include her in your ramblings?)
I actually had a couple thoughts as of late!
So, the Opera House Au has been running for a few years, and in that time, we got a new Zelda game and I've yet to touch on any of the characters from it!
So, here's a quick rundown of some of the characters from EoW and their places in the opera house au!
Echo - An actress. She's specifically a stuntwoman, which is great, because most of the gals in the opera are only minimally capable of performing stunts. Artemis and Lullaby are the best at it, but it's good to have some new blood on the scene. As of the start of the official story (which I'm writing a prologue to as we speak!), she's not yet joined the opera, but she will. She may also bring her birb friend, Tri, along with her.
Rift - Doesn't actually work at the opera, but for Lueberry, Purah's uncle. He may or may not be an electrician in training who Four meets, befriends, and tries to convince to pleas please please help him fix the wiring in the opera house because good grief it's atrocious! He's a mute, because I said so, but actually gets along really well with Time because of it. Time is a selective mute who's mostly grown out of his non-speaking, but those two will be having snide conversations in sign language whenever drama goes down.
Lueberry: Purah's uncle, as I said. He's a retired electrician who currently runs a small shop in town. He's actually new to Crown City, and he makes no secret of the fact that he thinks everything is too big. Rift is his apprentice that he brought with him, and he just sends the kid out to do anything because this man has no interest in actually going out into the city proper. He's going to love Four and Flora both to death if he meets them though, although he's got a gruff way of showing it.
Lefte: Lullaby's secretary. I think I originally had Dawn in this role, but given her age, it makes more sense that Lefte would play this part. She remains mostly in hers or Lullaby's office, and rarely actually interacts with the rest of the crew, as her expertise is with the papers and not the actual doing of things. She and the prop manager have an incredibly obvious spat going on. I'm thinking maybe enemies to lovers?
Wright: The actual prop manager. I know I said Legend works this job, and he does, but officially speaking, he's too young to actually hold the role. he does the work of the role, as Wright isn't actually very well organized, but since it's Wrights name on the title, he's the one who has to take any official flack for things going wrong. Wright is very gruff with his staff and is always grumbling about the boss's secretary. No one knows what the beef is, but everyone knows it exists.
Tri: Echo's pet bird. It talks. I have no clue what gender it is, and neither does anyone else; Echo refuses to tell them. Typically speaking, Echo doesn't take Tri with her to work, but sometimes exceptions happen. It's not uncommon, once they join the opera, to see Tri sitting on top of Wolfie while there respective humans work, or picking a fight with him. Tri likes making trouble one moment and being perfectly calm and normal at other times. Wolfie is being a very good boy and not eating them (Wolfie is a hunting dog by breed, this genuinely takes effort for him and so he is doing very very good here). While Echo doesn't take Tri to work often, she does take them everywhere else with her when she can, usually on her shoulder or sitting on her head. Tri is known to occasionally spout inappropriate or rude comments, much to her embaressment. Tri and Sheerow do NOT get along, though, and heaven forbid they ever be in the same room.
And because you asked for some Styla content:
Shes still new to the opera. Upon Legend's return, he basically had to seek out all new staff for his department because Wright was having trouble keeping staff on hand because the props department fell into disrepair after his predecessor retired. Legend's currently fixing that issue, but again, they were lacking in staff. Styla was hired after Legend ran into her outside of a con. Someone ruined her period costume and they ended up fixing it together on what would essentially be a run around side quest, that made more than repairs to her costume, but also a new friendship. her talent with design and period accurate clothing really impressed him so he asked if maybe she'd like to do it for a job. She accepted instantly.
As implied above, she's a con girlie. She loves making costumes for herself and her friends for literally any reason at all.
She's in a relationship with Ballad and he's very supportive about her costume making. This does include modeling for her when she asks, although he genuinely hates it. Her gaining Legend and the opera was his salvation, and he's eternally thankful that he only has to model a costume if it's being made for him now. They wear cute couples costumes for Halloween and various cons all the time.
I don't know why, but I'm just convinced, off vibes alone, that she'd be a Sailor Moon fangirl. I have not watched Sailor Moon, but it just seems to make sense?
She's currently working as a costume designer and creator, but her dream is to work for The Fairy Fountain fashion line.
She has opinions about the CC brand that's been sweeping through Hyrule recently.
She's the friend that is forever trying to give you a makeover and then bows your mind when you let her. Her current target is Legend, but the moment Hyrule walks onto the scene she's already compiling a file in her head on how to best set him up to look his best.
She's very extroverted, life of the party, all up in your space and smiling, and it can be a bit much for some of the crew. She's somehow always this bright sunshiny fashion storm. Think a mixture between Pinkie Pie and Rarity from MLP (Gen 4), and that's her.
Girl cannot carry a note for the life of her. She knows this though, and uses it to her advantage. She will sing only when she's trying to get someone else to sing something for her, or when she's trying to make them shut up. It depends on the situation. Somehow, she's worse than Twilight. Malon has offered to help her, but she enjoys her "vocal weapon" and always declines.
Styla.

Styla from Tri-Force Heroes is Zelda from A Link Between Worlds's cousin! Zelda likes to take vacations to Hytopia to see her, even if everything there is a little over-the-top. Her visits inspired the inclusion of her dress!
