@Regrann from @sewingvintagewithtaramoss - I always like using tracing fabric for a toile, as it's so easy to sew up a pattern and see how it works on the body without committing with fashion fabrics. I very rarely make anything straight off a commercial pattern because I don't have a 'standard body'. (Who does?) @Regrann from @hausofvintage - PSA: These two were caught on camera stealing a pair of my Japanese curtains from both my spaces on 22/07/17 at 3:49pm. The thief in the grey was seen taken down one set and then neatly folding it and putting it in his jacket. The other set was hidden in his partners jacket. They then proceeded to walk out the centre. This was pretty brazen considering it was on a busy Saturday afternoon with customers and myself wandering around! Beware these two crooks and keep an eye out fellow Sydney vintage shop owners! #crimestoppers #nameandshame #theives #crooks This is disgraceful! !! I am a strong believer in karma! !! I have been asked numerous times about what is the best domestic iron to use!! Due to space constriction l don't have space for an industrial iron set up😕 but l think l have found the best iron ever after weeding out other brands! ! This Tefal iron is fantastic @tefal.australia ..it doesn't have temperature control but l have used it to press silk to linen and synthetics without any problems. Pressing interfacing l use a cloth over my work and it bonds it beautifully! !!. This iron is made in France and is just over $100. Worth ever cent!!! It is a joy to press with speaking from a lady that hates to do the ironing. .lol that is a good recommendation lol.😂 love it!!! x cheers Loretta ☺
