"By The Gods We'll Be Saved."

Getting back to these again! Here we have Ricky Phillips jamming on his space-themed Rickenbacker bass in zero-gravity. Another piece in the multi-part commission for a Facebook friend.

Now I just have Chuck Panozzo left to do for the single pieces, then it's onto the magnum opus: a group pic, that will also include Will E in some capacity.

Done in Autodesk SketchBook in about 8 hours total.

"TIME MAY BEND" ---inks

Another #fakepage coming your way - inspired by a song off of Styx's The Mission album.

Wanted to do something sort of surreal with time "bending" being represented by the melting clocks (like the ones from Dali's Persistence Of Memory)

Will be coloured over the next week or so.

"Trouble and Anxiety, Don't Lay Your Hands On Me"

Finally more #StyxTheMission stuff!

JY jamming out on his Steampunk Themed #RedStrat, during a brief break between fixing parts on the Khedive's flight modules. His favourite wrench set is an iridescent blue-purple-green (depending on light sources) from "Space-Weld", that specializes in intergalactic tools. [Made this up cuz it sounded cool? *shrugs* lol] Part of a 7 part commission for Dawn Michalsky

"NO COMMUNICATION"

[The following is an excerpt from Styx's The Mission album liner notes, penned by Mike Mettler]

"The Khedive crew has settled in for the requisite long nap that will enable them to endure the long-distance ride as they cruise towards Mars on autopilot. However, all contact from Earth has been lost. When they finally arrive at their destination, they are floating in auto-orbit above the Red Planet.

Some anomaly has caused only The Pilot's pod to open, and 'Locomotive' wakes up to find everyone else still in hibernation. The radios have also gone silent. The Pilot's dilemma: either bypass the devices and force the crew to awaken and risk their well-being in the process, or take the landing module down to the surface to assess the situation on the ground - entirely on his own.

'Locomotive' chooses the landing-module option, and realizes just how truly alone he is."

LIGHT IT UP, LET'S GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD Was inspired to draw Dragon!Gowan again after having Styx's "Gone Gone Gone" on a pretty much infinite loop since it's release last week.
