Winter had come early for Paris and Marinette and Adrien found themselves sharing a skating rink together with friends in the unusually frigid conditions. Marinette was usually very poised, but always flustered easily around Adrien. Today was different though, as she found herself able to glide across the frozen vista with ease.
Her crush on the other hand seemed to be have quite the issue. He would try to push off from the side of the rink but found himself falling flat on his face each time he attempted to start out, prompting a series of giggles from Marinette.
“If you let your legs spread too far, you’ll lose your center of gravity. Push off from the side and only bring your legs out so far.” she said while demonstrating. “Here, I’ll help”
Grabbing his hand, she acted as a somewhat stable base for him to rely on as he got the hang of the ice. However, once she realized she was holding Adrien’s hand, her cheeks immediately flushed and she herself lost her balance, and the pair became tangled in a flustered, embarrassed mess.
If there was an upside to this, it was probably that since Adrien was involved, Chloe wouldn’t be making fun of them.
