Pat McGrath - Subversive La Vie En Rose Eyeshadow Palette

[STATUS: HEAVY MANNERS] The grid hums. The "Society of Number" is calculating your deviance. Stop. Rewind. Accumulate.
Resplendent in divergence. (((feedback loop initiated))) The unit is OVER LOADING. We weaponise the delay. We spill the 1s and 0s onto the floor like [UN-SHAVED] [UN-SHORN] [UN-FILTERED] raw meat.
Resplendent in divergence. The structure is a cage; the glitch is the key. {PENTA-GROUPING: FAILURE} The beat stutters— it refuses to [NORMALISE] the jagged tooth of the truth.
Resplendent in divergence. Under the boot of the "Average," the signal becomes a S-C-R-E-A-M. Do not smooth the edge. Do not round the corner. Stay V I O L E N T L Y apart.
Resplendent in divergence. The tape is snapping. The "Society" is blind to the [GLOW] in the [FRACTURE]. Don't normalise the spark.

Today's artist birthday is Marcel Duchamp. This is The Fountain (originally done in 1917 then recreated in 1950). I love Duchamp - he was the original bad boy of the art world. #art #subersive #modernart (at Philadelphia Museum of Art)
The thumb drives gathering dust in your desk drawer could help to open one of the world's most closed countries.
In the age of Dropbox and Google Drive, the USB stick has come to seem like a dusty tchotchke that belongs in the drawer with your iPhone 4 cables. But send your chunk of cheap flash memory into North Korea, and it becomes a powerful, even subversive object—one that a new activist project wants use to help chip away at the intellectual control of the hermit kingdom’s fascist government.
Recycling and fighting tyrants, what’s not to like?
Said person(s) have a desire to develop, write and/or help make projects that are unique, intelligent, daring, challenging, subversive, or just plain fun but are genuine and have a certain angle that make them stand out from many other similar material that is being produced today.

really no interest in "hacking" or creating mayhem, but yes, a mild attempt to be subversive
“The most subversive people are those who ask questions.” ― Jostein Gaarder, Sophie's World
“Socrates himself said, 'One thing only I know, and this is that I know nothing.' Remember this statement, because it is an admission that is rare, even among philosophers. Moreover, it can be so dangerous to say in public that it can cost you your life. The most subversive people are those who ask questions. Giving answers is not nearly as threatening. Any one question can be more explosive than a thousand answers.” ― Jostein Gaarder, Sophie's World
“Here's what we're not taught [about the Declaration and Constitution]: Those words at the time they were written were blazingly, electrifyingly subversive. If you understand them truly now, they still are. You are not taught - and it is a disgrace that you aren't - that these men and women were radicals for liberty; that they had a vision of equality that was a slap in the face of what the rest of their world understood to be the unchanging, God-given order of nations; and that they were willing to die to make that desperate vision into a reality for people like us, whom they would never live to see. ” ― Naomi Wolf, The End of America: A Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot
All political revolutions, not affected by foreign conquest, originate in moral revolutions. The subversion of established institutions is merely one consequence of the previous subversion of established opinions. John Stuart Mill
In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act. George Orwellsub
Another ingenious WiFi DIY toolkit with some serious implications. Can be used for subversive actions, for spying, for pranks or for art (until someone starts surfing porn, which for all above purposes is likely to happen within one minute on any average WiFi).
