Y'know I used to think Subhuman wasn't fitting for Dante's theme in this game even if Dante is canonically a bit of a metal head plus I do enjoy it on its own but now in hindsight putting in more thought, this theme IS fitting for Dante when I put in the context of Sin Devil Trigger as this is Dante unleashing all the strength of his devil power but not losing his humanity to save the world & will do everything he can to protect it making this a much better theme if I realize this is Dante unleashing Sin Devil Trigger that he locks away until he really activates it

Human: can refer to anyone who is biologically homosapien; or an identity that internally identifies as human.

Nonhuman: a label for anyone who identifies as something other than human internally. This can be animal identities or fantasy races or anything else that isn't human.

Alterhuman: a label for anyone who experiences humanity in a different way. Sometimes erroneously used as a synonym for nonhuman, this can also include human-identifying kintypes, such as in the case of fictionkin, or human headmates in plural systems.

Subhuman: MAGAts, fascists, Nazis, Confederates and anyone who supports the rightwing assault on all that is good in the world. Subhumans are a lower lifeform that do not support values of shared humanity. They believe traits associated with values of humanity like "compassion" and caring for fellow people are sins. They are generally less educated than other biological humans, and rather than accepting it as a fault, want to destroy education to make everyone as stupid as the subhuman.

It's important to remember that human, nonhuman and alterhuman identities are all equal regardless of how they internally identify. Identifying as a non-human creature doesn't make you any less of a person nor deserving of less respect.

Supporting Nazis, fascists and the MAGA movement DOES make you less of a person.

Here’s some fun facts as well!

Elias: he was born in Brazil and moved to American when he was three, a very good singer but his voice is more melodic which doesn’t mesh well with the heavy rock he plays

Camilla: loves plants but can never seem to keep them alive, it’s not mentioned in the vn but she’s stolen Elias’s trash before
