You discover Doug in your basement while looking for ingredients, your ingredients that are all missing for some reason. You can't really head into town by yourself without being spotted immediately, so why not bring the most average man ever along with you to conceal your identity? You and Doug head into town for potion ingredients, but something weird stirs in you by the end of the day.

A plush sound is heard as you plop onto the cushions of your couch. Groaning, you hold up the empty heart-shaped bottle up and allow the sunlight to catch and reflect off the remains of your failure of a love potion. You bring the bottle close to your chest whilst your subconscious muses on what possibly could've been done wrong.
"Did I add enough twigs, berries, deer blood? Did I stir it clockwise instead of anticlockwise with the end of a sparkler? URGH!!"
You throw your free hand up and simultaneously stand up. Ambling towards your kitchen cabinets you creak them open swiftly one by one just to be greeted by bare shelves that are normally filled with ingredients. Your mind loops back to all the goods you tossed into your cauldron while experimenting with a variety of potions.
"As if this day couldn't get worse!"
You cover your head with your witch hat and not-so-silently scream into the divot. After 'calming down' you realize your basement probably has forage, albeit probably expired forage and foliage but that just enhances the taste.
Reaching into the depths of your couch you pull out a few buttons, dust bunnies, a cat toy-how did that get there? Oh well, you tossed it to Julian and he seems really amused by it... -berries (that you immediately ate) and finally, the key to the basement.
Climbing over the couch you slot the key in and unlock the door. The door slowly creaked before you immediately stuck against the door, causing it to outspread completely with a bang that echoed throughout the dark abyss. Dust particles were dancing, emerging from seemingly nowhere and were illuminated by the living room light.
You cast a light spell (turned on the lights) and slowly made your way down the aged wood stairs that squeaked every step you took. Spider scaled the cracked walls and spidewebs hung from the ceiling like decoration. However, it was no problem for you walked straight into any that guarded your path as if they were nonexistent.
Your basement was stocked with a few shelves that surrounded you. Although, the same thing can't be said about it's racks. You stood in front of the unoccupied shelves and stared with your lollipop eyes.
"Whaaa-??? Where is everything?" pacing around you looked high and low, occasionally getting greeted by a mutant bug or two which was the least of your worries.
"where's my leaf collection? bone collection?? DEER ANTLER COLLECTION???? DID THE RATS EAT IT ALL???!!!" Your demeanor completely switches and it's as if the light does the same, even the spiders skuttle away in terror as a looming dark aura radiates out of you. Your eyes seem to flare as a single white mouse scurries past your feet and you bend down and pick it up rapidly, holding it up. You crack your neck towards it's origin as a large amorphous pulsing shadow steals your attention, causing you to drop the rat
The room echos with a plush sound as the rat squeeks away. You hear what should be your breathing- intensify and your fiendish smile distends, stepping forward with malicious intent.
"Have I concocted a mutant mouse, all with the ingredients of my basement and chance of luck?!- Screw the love potion, I wanna find this-!!!" your voice comes out vitriolic as you take another electrified step towards the being, hands aching in a claw like formation as if you were a tiger ready to pounce upon it's prey.
" I really am brilliant...wait until my aunties find out about this-! " you lunge onto the being, and the soft, satiny- wait satiny?!! You hiss and fall back onto the floor in a like cat in water
Rubbing your eyes you squint and make out not a mutant mouse - which simply crushed your dreams-but a blurry spotty figure in the shape of a mouse man?
Blinking rapidly, you allow your eyes to adjust and you unfortunately don't find a mouse man- but a man that kind of looked like a mouse. Mouth agape in both dismay and puzzlement you stare at the black-haired man. He was huddled in the shadows, and his almost monotone brown clothes seemed to make him subtly camouflage into the walls. For a long few still minutes you both just observe each other.
Finally, you crack the quietude with a tilt of a head
".... Who are you? Why are you in my basement?! " you query with an icrimininating point of a finger. A few uncomfortable seconds of silence goes by before anything is heard from him, as if he forgot how to speak.
"It's Doug!... And *you* locked me here-again- like atleast a few weeks ago!" he responds with a subtle voice crack. You interject with a long oh that contrasted heavily with your attempt at a poker face that 'hid' your expressions as you scour through your brain files.
As you nod your head you slowly back away from him-not forgetting about your initial intentions of seeking ingredients for a revised love potion. You swear you see his hands twitch, however, it could've been an actual mouse running by. On your tippy toes, you subsist your reversing, utilising the time to decide on just going out and purchasing things from the town-but memories of Blatella insulting your perfectly fine and dandy disguises simmered in your mind. You stop in your tracks as you eye Doug's clothes. He looks like a very typical run of the mill villager, with his clothes, you bet you will too-!
"What's wrong?" his voice echos "I need your clothes to go buy things at the village!- Hand them over!" you order, pointing at him. "Wait-!!" you wave your hands as you rest your hands on your chin, pondering once more. There was a low chance his clothes would fit you properly, which could peril villagers spotting your costume.
"I could just get them for you. " he adds in differently, yet it falls on deaf ears. A bad costume, an oversized costume in fact was *definitely* going to be more obvious than a long black robe and a hood in your head. Sighing, you tap your chin.
"aha! You could just come with me! I'm sure your presence could hide me better than any disguise ever could!!" you exclaim.
"I-" he breathes out "yeah, sure." he looks a bit upset at the comment, but you're sure it's nothing.
Walking up the stairs, Doug follows closely behind. You emerge from the basement, lacking any sort of ingredients but having aqquired a human man who lived in your basement. Who you locked in there apparently? No, you definitely must've heard wrong.
Doug squints his eyes as he enters the living room, in a similar way to someone turning on lights while he was sleeping. To a kitchen drawer you saunter, dragging it open by the handle you pull out a slightly crumpled and frayed at edges piece of lined paper. A list of ingredients were hastily written and crossed out on the paper, leaving only a few words (or drawings) legible. Meanwhile, Doug stared at Julian holding up a cat toy in pure interest.
"Let's go!" you exclaim as you hold the thin sheet up in the air. "JSJASJKZKSZKSWKSKSE" Julian screeches, tilting his head and towards you. Rolling your eyes, you shoo him away "Not this time, Julian. You nearly got us caught back then -!" Julian replies with another screech, this time wriggling his fingers in what looked like disdain.
Strutting out of the door, Doug follows beside you, almost reluctantly. The distance between both of you was enough to fit two Julians, but with the way it was, the space slowly widened as doug strayed further from the middle of the path, you weren't sure whether it was intentional or not, however he seemed to really like the feeling of bushes pressed against his legs
The sun shined over the brim of your hat as you both sauntered towards the bustling town. Shouts of deals and offers lit sparks into your eyes-you gravitated towards the stalls before inevitably being dragged away by Doug. Strolling through the town you recognised some familiar faces- a blond in front of a blacksmith chatting with some customers, an elegant man waltzing around the town square-fabric flowing as if dancing with him, a cheery man with purple overalls accompanied by his high-pitched yells and a flash of red and black that immediately caused you to speed up your pace.
After a while of wandering, you spotted a stall selling exactly what you needed-deer antlers. Aggresively, you pointed at the stall- motioning to Doug's blank face- was he even hearing you?
"DEER ANTLERS!! Thats on my list!"
"Oh, alright... " he stole a look at the stall "You should probably stay out of sight, though. Despite the fact I may seem invisible, it doesn't mean you are, too." He paused, before speaking under his breath "I noticed you got some looks...ahem"
"Ah! RIGHT!!! I should hide! Good idea" you gleamed as you both approached the intricate stall, before you dove into a bush next to the counter-the bush apparently treating you to a healthy meal of greens. Doug stood by the counter, watching the employee log things into the stall and proceed to examine the room, hand on their chin they nodded as they pointed around. Meanwhile, Doug twiddled his thumbs and fiddled with the hem of his blouse. A few more minutes passed as the employee now started to pace around the stall, placing things above and below-they even displayed a few more items on the counter, all without noticing Doug's prescence.
Meanwhile, the bush started to feel like a green void. You couldn't distinguish your hair, the bush, your skin or the twigs. Boredom growing, you leaped out of the bush-groaning as leaves scattered around your body like confetti. Suddenly, just like clockwork, the employee swiveled towards the root of the noise.
"HEY-" Your shoulder was grabbed and his hand barely hovered over your mouth just as you felt the inertia of being pushed back down into the green void."Sorry-!" he whispered loudly, guilty look plastered on his face.
Fortunately, your super helpful act seemed to have caught the attention of the worker, whom which finally attended to Doug. Leaving with a bag of a singular deer antler he approached your bush as you emerged once more- this time with a crumpled paper and a pen, striking out something on a poorly drawn map of the town and a list of ingredients you apparently needed to get.
"The next ingredient...a love book!" you exclaim, pointing towards the sky "..Where can you get that..?"
"The library should have some. I'm fairly sure I've come across one or two there before." "ALRIGHT THEN!! TO THE LIBRARY!!" you reiterate, drawing attention to yourself once more - a miracle how you haven't been spotted. A short trail diverged- leading to a small town library where the both of you shuffled through shelves. Well- you were shuffling through shelves until Doug suddenly beelined for a specific shelf, as you followed behind like a lost dog. Carresing his fingers through the spines of the neutral coloured books, he landed on one and carefully pulled it out of the shelf. 'The science of love' was imprinted onto the cover, decorated by ornate golden corner frames. Leaning upright your head slowly twisted towards Doug's nonchalant attitude.
"How did you find that so fast?! WITCH!" You accused, whispering loudly and striking an incriminating finger at him
His lip quirked, before dismissed with a cough. "I come here alot. It's one of the places I visit the most. I guess."
Strolling across the aisles of shelves you two eventually reach the counter. "A new face, huh? Must be your first time here." the young librarian adjusted her glasses as she wrote into a book "Again...? You're the only person that works here." Doug sighed, commenting under his breath.
Exiting the dust-filled expanse you quickly pull out your plan once more, scribbling at more words. "Last but not least- BERRIES!!!" you perk up, crinkling the already beat up and bruised paper between your hands. "This time, I already know where these can be found!" you grin as you skip towards the nearest grove of forests.
On the way towards the forest, your stomach growls, only motivating you further to find those berries as soon as possible. Doug follows far behind, straying further and further away until you're eventually alone in the dense forest, plucking berries from leaves, bushes and shrubs.
Time flies by, and the sun readies to make its leave. The golden sunlight leaks through the gaps of leaves, forming patterns on the thick forest floor. Birds chirp from far away as you wander around the forest-pockets full of berries.
"If only Doug were collecting berries, too. I'd probably get two times as much as I have right now! Where even is he? What's he doing!"
Eventually finding your way through the thick forest, you exit through where you started. You spot a patch of black hair sitting on the grass floor, holding something- something irrelevant because THEY'RE NOT BERRIES!!!Stomping towards him you're quickly cut off by him holding up a paper bag towards your face, looking away. Eyebrows creased you slowly take the bag into your hands and look inside. "A plain loaf of bread probably isn't enough to fill your stomach" he postulated
Biting into the loaf a surge of flavour fills your tastebuds- a flavour you can't forget. Chewing the bread, the fruity taste of berries blesses your mouth. You cant help but simper at the wonderful sensation. Berries really are the best thing in the world, you wonder where he got it."Ah uh- we should head back. It's getting late!" you blurt out
Doug nods, slowly rising up. The town is quiet and serene. Sounds of water splashing resound throughout the town as the two of you make your way back home. You nibble on your bread - stealing a glance at doug. The amber light reflects off his dark hair, catching in his scar against his nose, resembling golden ichor. His eyes dart towards you for a split second, before looking back at the bags he held for you.
Something weird stirs inside you, like you were now the cauldron and a witch- a witch that wasn't you was stirring feelings inside you-adding ingredients and making potions in your stomach.-Were these really feelings? You couldn't tell.
Staring at Doug, you looked at your berry filled bread then back at his illuminated face- he that looked as if if he were under a spotlight, he looked as if he were finally something to be focused on for once. You take a quick bite at your bread as you stop in your tracks. Doug stops in sync with you, sending a look of confusion.
Suddenly, you jumped onto him-resembling the morning when you discovered him in your basement; Except, this time, you intended to, and you didn't let go as soon as you did. You quickly wrap your arms around him and squeeze him. Doug yelps as you do-gripping his bags tightly, before slowly relaxing into the hug. He looks at you even more confused now as you slowly peel away from his body.
His face has flushed pink, a similar shade to the berries you love. His lips are wavy as he quickly breaks eye contact with you-turning his head away and covering it with his hand slightly.
"If you even THINK about running away, get ready to be stuck squeaking again." you threathen, an empty promise at most."I wasn't planning to."
(due to lack of experience with a subby girl, I have stayed within the masculine gender but the same is very much applicable for a GOOD GIRL or GOOD THING/PUPPY/TOY)
❤️ has created and is constantly creating a life according to his needs and desires, so he can fully dive into it. No resentment. No underlying "you need to make me happy"
🖤 Learnt to embrace himself and knows how to live his life alongside his strengths and weaknesses
❤️ He adores to learn from others and has realised that he is the type that really benefits from being guided and fully embraces that part of himself
🖤 He has recognised a leader quality in me and has chosen he wants to be owned by me, for this specific reason. Don't get me wrong. I'm happy if he finds me hot. And that our kinks magically line up, sexually. But the key element for me is that he decides that my guidance will be making his life better
❤️ Honesty and openness is one of his core values, because he also understands that it creates a whole different level of intimacy - one that he benefits from deeply. He lives those standards by his own choice and does not need to be made to do it
🖤 He also avoids lying and hiding. Because it is one of the main ways to disrespect or violate my boundaries and this is not compatible with his submission and dedication (not only towards me but generally speaking)
❤️ This is why, when he feels off in whatever regards, he pro actively approaches me respectfully
🖤 His relationship philosophy is "how" and not "if"
I LOVE DOUG SO MUCH 😭😭😭🫶🫶🫶 anyways ignore the fact it's off beat LMAO the tweening took me TOO long PLEASE PLAY SUBJECT:LOVE THE FANDOM IS SO SMALL 🥹🥹‼️‼️
