💐 (bouquet) - What analogy would you use to describe your system to a curious stranger?
oddly enough, the mental comparison we've made the most is to old askblogs or series where a lot of characters will live together (eg slendermansion). it doesn't really make sense as an analogy, but the idea of many people who wouldn't usually be together being in one place is the idea.
(i think our host would've liked me to say possession, considering he's obsessed with it, but we all know that's not really anywhere near).
🪴 (potted plant) - If you have a headspace, what is that like? If you don't have a headspace, where do system members normally hang out?
our headspace tends to veer toward nebulous— the most concrete thing about it is the area in which front, although, it is rather stereotypical. yellow walls, brown carpet, some (number unclear) computer chairs in front of a screen and some space behind them for those not fully fronting. one of our co-hosts has brought an old pink bed that we had as a child into this space, so as to lie on it and pretend to text someone (eg teenage girl in a 2000s movie).
beyond the front room, we don't tend to have much going on? although we know people can interact there, there isn't much visualisation. it is something to work on.
🌹 (rose) - Is plurality, overall, a net positive or a negative for you? (Or neither?) If given the opportunity to become singlet (whether through fusion or everyone getting their own body), would you take it?
plurality for us has strong positives and negatives— it is both easier and harder to function in certain scenarios. there's something to be said of everyone's priorities being a little different from one another, meaning we tend to pull away from things someone else would want. although, i think for the most part this has been a help.
fusion, at least complete fusion, is something none of us really want— some through fear, and some just of a desire to remain as they are. seeing as plurality is (for the most part) actively helpful, there's no real reason to want that. a lot of us do want to be seperated from this body, though.
thank you for the questions.
