I somehow wrote 990 words in one hour this morning, which means I’m ~70% done with my essay! I’m going to bring my laptop to work anyway in hopes of finishing the remaining 30%…went for coffee with a friend, browsed two bookstores & the library and got a ticket for tomorrows soccer match! It’s a „I survived my first day of work“ present to myself since tomorrow is my first day at work lol I’m a bit scared, but honestly? I survived being a ta in a class filled with 17/18 year olds and I run the library mostly by myself - subbing grades 5-9 can‘t be all that scary :‘) (tho starting at 8am is, gladly I get off work at 12:30pm)

I started working as a substitute teacher this year and I noticed that the way I get the students' attention at the start of class is that I do the fucking power clap in The Menu (2022) that I also did in speech & debate in high school during award ceremonies
