About your headcanon that Nora doesnt read well so Ren help/listens to her: I actually have the same headcanon! Like perhaps she has dyslexia or something.
yes i like that idea as well. although mine has a bit to do with my headcanon of nora was an orphan from very young age and unfortunately had been missing crucial skills like reading writing and basic arithmetic due to the neglect of overcrowded/underfunded orphanage since grimm is attracted to negativity i would think the concept of putting orphans or refugees together in one place might be an unpopular one. i’d imagine ppl would not want to have anything to do with them if they can, and pushed them away from community.
i used to put ren together in her past but since we already know they might not have the same childhood, i thought it might be good to have him as one of the positive influence why she turned out well despite her bleak past.
