Debating rewriting the ending of Stranger Things, so here’s random stuff I’d change or add:

So for El specifically:

- First and foremost, I bring Dr. Owens back. Is this solely a plot device? Yeah. He’ll serve some use. Might need to add other minor scientist characters though. They won’t play a huge part but they’ll be important in the beginning.

- Owens will help El after she fakes her death to create a new name, life, etc. Owens will have access to the information of what has happened in Hawkins, he’s able to give that to the government, prove that it goes worse and weirder than superpowered kids, but also that it’s been destroyed now. That there’s no way to reopen those wounds, but the data they have could be studied. Owens will do what he can, but only if no children are harmed ever again.

- El will officially rename herself to Eleanore Jane (no last name yet but it’s eventually Hopper), and return once things are officially safe— roughly a year.

- Also letting her dye her hair. It’s fried a little but she’s happy. Yk the blonde wig she has in s1? She lets herself experiment with femininity.

- She also is allowed to be independent, and when she comes back she doesn’t want to date Mike, she wants time on her own. Mike respects this. They’re still close, but not the way they were before. Mike holds some resentment that she never reached out about being safe.

Other things:

- I might bring Eddie back as a treat.

- If Eddie does come back, he’s part of the hive mind but has the ability to break it sometimes. He’s grotesque when they first see him, they hardly recognize him. Once the hive mind is destroyed he nearly dies (again). Owens helps to surgically ready Eddie for society again. I do have the idea that Eddie and El are almost like siblings in this AU— Eddie takes her to get a cover-up of her number. It’s a butterfly.

- Will has chronic migraines after everything, and suffers from sleep paralysis regularly.

Additional Ships:

- Byler? Maybe.

- Steddie? Debating it.

- Elumax or Henderhop for El, EVENTUALLY. But like I said this focused on her finding herself before she gets a romantic relationship.

I do appreciate that people are throwing a fit over the 70$ price tag of Borderlands 4.

But I am of the opinion...they could charge 50$ and I still don't plan on getting it cause the story of Borderlands 3 was straight up ASS CHEEKS.
