nobody asked but because I’m always in rare pair mode, here’s some IwaSuga headcanons
Iwaizumi can frickin light switch between yelling at athletes to a soft boyfriend when he sees Suga or talks to Suga. It’s kinda scary but in a hot way.
It’s actually really funny to watch Iwaizumi go from a no-nonsense, strict, Olympic athletic trainer, to blushing while Suga kisses him all over his face
They like to go on road trips and long drives together. Sometimes they’ll talk, but others they’ll just listen to music and chill. Iwa always drives because he’s a car guy, and Suga likes to play navigator.
Iwaizumi can play the guitar (he picked it up in cali) and sometimes him and Suga will sing together sometimes and it’s the most beautiful thing in the world
Suga will use basic pet names like “baby,” “sweetheart,” and “honey,” but he also uses a lot of stupid pet names. Like the really long ones that don’t even make sense. Like “hello my honey bunch late lunch tasty munch” “I love you my sweet and sour happy hour” “my cryptid nighttime lover”. He also calls Iwaizumi “Iwa” (not Iwa-chan tho, because that one is just for Oikawa), and sometimes “Haji” or just “Hajime”
Iwaizumi isn’t as big on pet names, and usually just uses Suga’s name (especially his first name because he thinks Koushi is a really cute name, but he also uses Suga when he’s talking to people who only know him as Suga) along with Babe and Baby. Occasionally he’ll throw in “Angel” or “love” or “princess” (because Suga thinks it’s cute and doesn’t care if it’s feminine, it has a much better vibe than prince)
Anytime Suga gets hurt, Iwaizumi immediately goes into panic mode and it will take weeks for Suga to convince his boyfriend that he’s recovered and he’s not made of glass (Iwa handles Suga like he’s the most precious thing in the universe and you can’t change my mind)
They cuddle so much it’s disgustingly cute. Suga gets cold easily, especially in his hands, so he’ll always be pressing himself against Iwaizumi and trapping his hands in between them for maximum warmth
Don’t even get me started on how cute it is for Iwaizumi to give Suga piggy back rides, especially when Suga’s drunk and passes out on his back
Suga is a master of stealing Iwa’s clothes. He does it constantly and it got to a point where Iwaizumi would just try going through Suga’s clothes to find a shirt, which was funny because he picked the wrong one and ended up getting his buff arms stuck in one of Suga’s lil twink shirts
Iwaizumi is the cutest boyfriend and he’ll rub Suga’s feet and even give him lil hand massages sometimes if Suga had a rough day.
In return Suga tries to give Iwa shoulder rubs but it’s hard because Suga’s hands are not big enough for those broad shoulders and tight muscles (Suga actually gets pretty good at it but he needs Iwaizumi to be laying down to get the right leverage)
Suga kills bugs but Iwaizumi prefers to let them out, so when Suga sees a bug he’ll yell out to Iwa and give him ten seconds to drop what he’s doing and get the bug before Suga kills it
