After your ordeal with Sugou in the original ALO, how did coming to play the relaunch by its new company come about? Was it hard to step back into Alfheim at first?

It was very hard. I knew that I wouldn’t have to ever see Sugou again, but just stepping into the game after the ordeal was a battle of it’s own. Thankfully I had Kirito and my friends to cheer me on, and I knew that Kirito would protect me. I think knowing that it was being run by a different company was a big help because I knew that another incident like the original ALO was highly unlikely.

Christmas is almost here And Ginoza is not feeling the holiday spirit. Akane and Sugo decide to help.

“Sugo do you know what mistletoe is?” Tsunemori asked, practically vibrating in her seat. She reached inside her breast pocket and waited for Sugo’s answer.

“Mistletoe? I think I’ve seen it in one of Gino’s plant encyclopedias."

“Well, l found out people used to hang mistletoe around during Christmas Eve and the funniest thing happened if you stood under one.” Tsunemori said and smiled devilishly.

Summer is coming to an end, huh?

Ginoza and Sugo dashed through the soaking rain. It had taken the city by surprise and even with their shared umbrella, their pants and shoes were done for.

“Come on, Sugo! Let’s get into that café!” Ginoza said.

Sugo nodded and they ran faster only for Sugo to trip with a hidden part of the sidewalk.

“Sugo!” Ginoza cried, the red umbrella flying from his hands as he turned around and caught Sugo.

“Th-thank you, Ginoza! That was close!” Sugo said, cheeks burning and holding onto Ginoza’s forearms.

“Ah! Sorry! The umbrella! Let me...!”

Ginoza didn’t let him finish the sentence or pick up the umbrella, as he pulled him into a slow kiss.

The sky kept falling around them, but they just held the other closer.
