Suits | 1x05 Bail Out

One of my favourite episodes is and will always be 1x05, because it’s basically designed to show us that Harvey I-Don’t-Give-A-Crap Specter... Actually does give a crap. 

I mean.

The whole thing with Ray, taking his case pro bono, etc.

Settling with the guy who ran a red (Mr Montana was his name maybe?) just because... I don’t know, he felt for him? Harvey waved his right to collect legal fees and he didn’t make him pay anything, avoiding to beat him basically (the guy had pretty much admitted that the accident was his fault, it was very likely that the jury would have said that the taxi driver was the one in the wrong) - the judge’s face here is was priceless, I loved his interaction with Harvey.

Saving Trevor. I mean, Harvey basically talked his way out of being shot and the only reason why he was in front of armed drug dealers in the first place was... to prevent Mike from being there instead. Harvey basically thought: “Alright, it’s either the kid risking to get shot to save that poor excuse of a friend, or it’s me doing the dirty work and risking to get shot. Well, of course I’ll go :D” But, you know, he doesn’t care.

Mike even made it explicit at the end of the episode: “After all this, you really think I’m still buying the Mr. I-Don’t-Give-A-Crap thing?”

The funniest thing is that Harvey still tries to sell it after that episode. Don’t bother, honey, we know you are a soft marshmellow inside.

Watching "Bail Out"

This has to be my favorite episode of the series so far. The puppy analogy is just priceless. And then there's Trevor. And Trevor and Mike's (b)romance. And jealous Harvey. And so much lack of personal space.
