sorry it took me so long!

and i want to state that i do not have narcolepsy ! one of my coworkers does and i haven't really talked about it with her too much, but i've been doing research ! if any of this is wrong or anything, please let me know because i want to learn because narcolepsy isn't just a joke for media:)

when suki has sleep attacks, her eyes glaze over and she can't really process anything around her because she's trying to not fall asleep. after awhile, yue can tell when sleep attacks start and she know how to see the signs and she always stays with suki until it's over / she wakes.

speaking of, because of this, both suki and yue are big flakes. suki always feels really bad for making plans and then cancelling, and obviously none of her friends get mad at her for it, but it still takes a bit of a toll on her relationships and such. but yue loves suki so she never gets upset when she has to cancel dates or when she doesn't have the energy to do anything. and yue becomes a flake too, willingly, though. if the gaang + friends have plans after school but suki knows she has to cancel, more often than not yue will cancel too and stay with her.

or yue will cancel plans to stay with suki during and after sleep attacks because suki doesn't really like waking up alone especially if she's not in her dorm / apt / or one of her friends' places. suki tries to convince yue that it's not worth staying with her because soon yue will lose all her friends and yue frowns and kisses suki's forehead and says "they aren't real friends if they aren't willing to wait" because everyone knows how much suki tries not to flake and how much she tries to be there.

one of suki's favorite places to fall asleep in after that sleep attack struggle of keeping her eyes open is when she's at zuko and jet's apartment because without a doubt sokka will be there for zuko which means haru will be there for jet and katara and aang will be there and mai and ty lee and azula and jin and toph and, of course, yue and when she falls asleep, yue will maneuver her head in her lap and run her fingers through her hair.

when she wakes up, she wakes up to everyone talking and laughing and it's her favorite sound because they waited for her and they didn't leave her and go to a different room or leave her in the chair or move her somewhere else: they waited for her.

and yue is there as always, and suki leans into her touch and when yue's fingers brush her hair out of her face from when she stirred, suki turns so she can kiss yue's fingers and then yue just smiles down at her and suki smiles up and yeeee thEY

puffy's vision blacked out for a second out of pure FEAR and RAGE when the eggpire threatened niki

puffy's horns remind niki of jschlatt. this has resulted in more than one incident of niki attacking puffy, puffy trying to file down her horns and niki flinching away from puffy.

oh also correlating with the one above, puffy's first thought when she saw niki flinch away for the first time was that niki had had an abusive ex. angst ensues

puffy is TERRIBLE at baking and niki gets ptsd from smoke since l'manberg so the first time puffy burnt something accidentally, niki had a full-on panic attack

in a soulmate au where they feel eachothers pain, puffy would get these huge aches of hunger, followed by a sharp pain everywhere before it disappeared. she wasnt sure that niki was her soulmate but didnt rule it out, and her theories were basically confirmed when niki looked much thinner at the banquet than she had been pre-doomsday

as mentioned above, puffy is terrible at baking, but over times she becomes just below mediocre. niki boasts abt it to everyone she meets

puffy always exaggerates with everything ever so once when niki struck her with flour, she made this big deal abt betrayal

both of them were gonna play an original concert together after new l'manberg festival (ig thats kinda angsty but whatever)

puffy gets ticklish around the armpits and under-knee area so those are niki's go-to spots

niki is ticklish EVERYWHERE but specifically her neck and puffy abuses the fuck out of that

puffy doesnt really get REALLY flustered easily, but niki knows she just has to kiss puffy's neck and whisper in her ear and puffy melts, which niki, again, abuses the fuck out of

niki is buff, i will die on this hill

puffy was kinda skeptical that niki was buff. like last she had seen niki she was kinda buff from baking but not really BUFF yaknow? well she was surprised when puffy came to help ranboo move into michael's mansion, and she was completely flustered when she saw niki lift heavy objects and was reduced to a flushing, stumbling, stuttering mess when talking to niki trying desperately not to think gay thoughts

also on the niki buff hc, puffy sometimes asks for niki to pick puffy up bc... stromk woman... stromk gf...

and of course has a gay panic every day

niki was the one to propose i will die on this hill

they did have one moment when they tried on each others clothes with niki loving the rainbow hoodie but hating the suffocating feeling of the captain's outfit

and puffy loving most of nikis clothes but hating the Coat (you know which one im talking abt)

they have pet names but specific ones: "angel, sheepy-head (based off sleepy-head), grumbler" and then a lot of generic ones like "babe, sweetheart, my love, hottie" etc

oh boy oh boy

- she's adhd inattentive. why? BECAUSE SHE'S MY COMFORT CHARACTER AND I GET TO CHOOSE THE PROJECTION

- after doomsday, she picks up smoking, it really doesn't help her lungs. she ends up developing pneumonia, and she gets a few asthma attacks a month because of a) the smoking and b) staying underground with no fresh oxygen and working every day

- she keeps the promise ring on her desk and looks at it whenever she wants puffy. she looks at it often.

- partly inspired by @/jayfur08's fic but she also drinks harming potions (read the fic! tis cool!)

- i've said it already but she has a prosthetic foot from falling off so many times off high ledges and killing herself over and over and mumza was like "fuck it. if you dont stop this shit im gonna leave you w worse" so basically she stopped niki from dying and broke her foot beyond repair. so.. yeah

- as for her relationship w the syndicate..

- she and ranboo are sibling-like, with friendly bantering and supportiveness, though it is a bit strained because of everything abt l'manberg. they still love (/p) eachother, of course, but it kinda just.. meh

- as most of you probably know i love techno + niki friendship so much. their relationship is between protective dad, proud older brother and cool uncle. that is all i shall say

- her and phil tho.. very VEry strained. phil tries his honest best to connect with her but she just feels kinda uncomfortable around him bc this is the man that killed her best friend. she gets around to liking him more after he helps her dye her hair tho.

- and steve is an honorary syndicate member so i'm adding him. she loves cuddling with him and he just huffs and shuffles. he's her emotional support animal at this point tbh

Please tell me everything you know about c!niki xD

THIS IS GONNA BE HELLA LONG SO HERE YOU GO

so niki first joined l'manberg - contrary to popular belief - AFTER the revolution, along w jack manifold. she joined bc she was good friends with wilbur and tommy. she opened up a bakery after consulting her diary/chat, and it ended up being pretty successful. not too succesful, but successful. during the elections, she decided to support her friend (childhood friend? the timeline is fucked up bc of c!fundy existing lbr) and together she and fundy made COCONUT2020. she didn't think she'd win, only really did it for fun, and supported wilbur even though she didn't join his party then her best friend and friend got exiled, and so she was understandably distraught and angry schlatt's reign was one of her low points. not her lowest, but pretty damn low if i do say so myself. she was tormented during this time by schlatt himself, and he made fun of her for her relationship with wilbur, called her things like a "wrench", he taxed her (to the point where she had to run away!), and he imprisoned her. it doesn't help that her childhood(?) friend betrayed her burnt down the flag that she had made for l'manberg (its so sad actually, listen to it) she had a birthday party that while i didnt watch ive heard that wilbur threatened to blow up l'manberg so yeah then she saw her younger brother-like figure get executed onstage, then almost got executed herself, when wilbur managed to get her away then it is DEVASTATING as she finally finds out abt how things have been going in pogtopia (especially for the viewers who only watched niki's pov). she had thought that they had a plan, that they were working things out, when really they haven't even got a semblance of a plan the pit fight happens, and then after she goes up to listen to one of tommy's discs with tubbo and tommy themselves during the manberg v pogtopia war, she fights for pogtopia and watches schlatt die and the nation become wilbur's again. then, of course, comes the part that all old school c!niki fans will remember... during the celebration they had just after tubbo gained presidency, she accidentally uncovered a small part of the wall and saw tnt. she went still, then covered it up, on the assumption that wilbur wouldn't blow it up BOY was she wrong her home gets destroyed (watch this and skip forwards until niki's pov), and she doesnt find out that wilbur dies until much, much later. to honour him, she starts wearing his coat. everything goes fine for a little while, and she yknow dates puffy (*SOBS* im unbiased im unbiased.... *sob*), and then doesnt find out abt tommy's exile until much later AFTER that. she doesnt really get in on the lore much during the inbetween period of tommy's exile and doomsday except for her city being built more. then, during doomsday, she gets angry at tommy and says that he couldn't just walk in there and assume everyone would be on his side, she also shouts at ranboo abt sides and stuff. later, she apologizes to ranboo and says that if ranboo fights for l'manberg, she will too. ranboo ends up doing nothing except watching everything unfold, and so niki does the same, except for one thing. she burns down the l'mantree, also known as her canonical lowest point. after that, she hears ghostbur speaking and has a panic attack, trying to reassure herself that "he's gone, he's gone, he's gone" and because shes too flooded w memories, she ends up blowing up her bakery. afterwards, however, she goes down into her secret city and isolates herself from everybody except for jack, who she plots to kill tommy with. she takes tommy to a nuclear test site and almost manages to kill him, but JUST misses him, somehow after this attempt, she scurries back to her little hole like a cryptid and (this is, in my opinion, her lowest point) isolates herself even MORE. she has contact with exactly 1 person during this whole period of four-five canonical(??) months, and it results in her mental health getting worse. technoblade visits her at the start of this, offering her a position as an anarchist to which she gives him a "maybe, after

i kill tommy" she gets night terrors, and keeps herself in a literal CELL so that she doesnt go anywhere when she sleepwalks, also punches the walls whenever she wakes up from a nightmare, which is often. eventually tho, she accepts techno's offer and joins the syndicate, naming herself as nemesis as a reference to her past self she manages to heal a substantial amount, finally having: a) a group that lets her speak (which is SO important for her, its actually the key to her entire arc) and b) socialization! however this takes a big turn, when she hears that wilbur's back she tries to play it off, then goes the l'manhole or l'crater, reminisces about wilbur betraying her (may i note the rocketduo where she looks pointedly at manifoldland and says "and GOD you deserved so much better dgsayufasyufgasuy) she grabs wilbur's diamonds, some of the first ever items she got in the SMP, then hides them in the wall, as a sign of her closing off from wilbur

PHHOOOOOOEEY THAT WAS A LONG ONE

okay so imma go with this writing cause its fun. so, you asked a few questions in response to the ask you gave me!! so lets go 1) why does she feel betrayed by wilbur? because she was one of the first people she met (canonically) on the SMP. he promised her that it would be a land of peace, prosperity, but she started loving it BECAUSE of wilbur. case and point: when wilbur asks whether she's loyal to l'manberg, she goes "yes, i'm loyal to you, wil." "no, no, not to me- to l'manberg" she quite literally wore his coat around the SMP as a symbol of her friendship and dedication towards him, because they were honestly the best of friends, and she THOUGHT she knew it. points out) and its the way she's learnt to do things. also remember: c!Niki is an unreliable narrator, that's the whole point of her character. it's a response to trauma (as @tubboblr pointed out) you're also probably wondering why she burnt down the l'mantree. and it's not because she "finally realized that l'manberg was bad" it was actually really simple: she wanted to be heard. she had been beaten down and talked over SO much (aka the BASIS for her arc) that she's so desperate to be heard she'll take desperate measures. another reason is because she finally loses hope in l'manberg. she loved it, loves it, but she just lost hope in it. she never hated it. she LOVED it, with all her heart. she just didnt believe it had any hope to be the place she had thought it was. if you have any other questions, let me know!!

Sukitara + phobias (but if you don't like Sukitara I'm fine with yueki too)

hey!!! sorry for taking so long to respond, my job got uhhh,,, hectic bUT

after her time in boiling rock, suki developed fears she never really had before. like, when it got too hot outside, she flashbacked to being stuck in a literally boiling island. or when someone touches her shoulder or wrists, she tends to get defensive and tense because she has to be vigilant

but one thing that she absolutely hates is that ice freaks her out. which she thinks is so stupid because boiling rock is hot and ice isn’t supposed to trigger anything but she was thrown in the cooler for 5-10 minutes one day because she pissed the guards off and she’s also the avatar’s friend and that was the most traumatic experience of her life so now she’s afraid of ice and being around ice

anyWAYS so katara wants her to come visit in the South Pole and suki knows it’ll be hard for her to be there but she goes anyway because katara is there and she would do anything for katara and naturally she ends up panicking within like an hour

and katara helps her open up and stop repressing what happened while she was prisoner and they alternate between kyoshi island and swt because suki knows how much the swt means to katara and when suki wakes up from nightmares katara is always there and ready and gently kisses suki’s knuckles (because they always hurt when she wakes up since she was pounding against the door to the cooler anyways) and katara just. talks. and tells suki swt stories and she’ll use her bending to paint the pictures in the sky with water (never with ice) and suki is just so in love and amazed by how beautiful and creative her girlfriend is and yeah:)
