🌞 Blessed Midsummer 🌞

Today marks my year and a day since I recomitted myself properly back to being a Witch and a Pagan.

I took a morning walk in the countryside to enjoy the rays of the sun before the heat became too unbearable for feeble Brits like myself. I thank Déa for helping me to regain my own power this past year and discover my own Sovereignty as I've explored the Celtic pantheon. She has blessed me and comforted me and saved me in so many ways this past year.

Mother Sophia, High Queen of Heaven, is the Woman Clothed In The Sun for many Gnostics, instead of the Virgin Mary. She is my primary deity as I appreciate the gifts of the sun. I also honour Lady Sulis, solar goddess of healing waters, whose card I placed on my altar for today. Rhiannon and Aine are other solar goddesses I give praise to.

I did not forget the boys either. Lord Cernunnos and King Gwyn ap Nudd represent the Oak and and Holly King respectively for me. Papa Cernunnos has given me much to be grateful for in his half of the year and I'm excited to get to know King Gwyn further.

Sulis: Purificación y Claridad

Bajo el velo suave de la noche,

envuelta en mantos de luz plateada,

dejo que mis lágrimas caigan

como perlas que regresan al mar.

Todo lo que llega a mí

se purifica en la claridad lunar:

se disuelve en su brillo frío,

se transforma en verdad,

se vuelve suave en mi corazón.

Mi discernimiento despierta

como una luna creciente,

y mi don entrelazador guía los hilos

para atraer solo lo que alumbre

mi camino de luz, amor y visión.

Reconozco los dones que otros traen:

ecos, señales, intuiciones, presencias.

Los honro y agradezco,

como quien escucha al mar en la quietud.

Sé que la verdadera victoria

se revela como la luna llena:

fruto de paciencia, constancia

y el deseo de iluminar más allá de mí misma.

Permanezco fiel a mis principios,

incluso cuando la sombra se estira.

Porque mi esencia, como la luna,

nunca se apaga:

solo cambia de forma para seguir brillando.
