Many probably won’t know but the Sultan of Oman has just passed. Sultan Qaboos was the longest reigning ruler in the Arab world. He built Oman up from a desolate desert to a prosperous and beautiful country in his almost 50 year reign. This man built roads, schools, and made sure that Oman never was involved in any conflict and that Oman was always a peaceful and safe country. He truly was an amazing ruler who earned and deserves the love of his people. Even foreigners loved him. He was the father of Oman and it is truly a deep deep loss on this world that he is gone.

May Allah rest his soul in peace and grant him the highest levels of Jannah.
