My connection between Sumerian Mythology and Abrahamic Bibliology

If you grew up Christian, but had never really studied it's origins let me tell ya, you aren't the first, and I am not even Christian anymore. So If anyone remembers there was a once well known land called Mesopotamia, and within this land it is a well known fact that these old kingdoms are all Semitic. Now I am going to make a connection it is up to all of you to think about it.

So if many of you do not know, the Sumerians were some of the oldest people in the Mesopotamian area that we now know in places such as Iraq, Iran and other Middle Eastern Countries that is just too long of a list for me to name off right now because I am tired and want to get to the point of my connection (not to be an ass, but I can't type forever). The Sumerians soon faded off themselves but broke up into groups of kingdoms such as the Assyrians, Akkadians, Babylonians, Hittites, and more that we all know today, while still keeping Sumerian roots.

Many of you may know the Epic of Gilgamesh (he was also referred to orginally as Bilgamesh). Well the demigod you may know and love from our beloved anime my dear friends also has quite some comedial poetry about him as well too. Besides the point, Gilgamesh can be recognized as similar to demigods of other mythology as well. But in this particular connection you can connect the Epic of Gilgamesh to specific parts of the Bible. One story in particular, is the Story of Noah. While Noah had built his massive ark to last him, his family, a few others plus many animals, 40 days and 40 nights that story was mirrored from a piece of the Epic of Gilgamesh.

Utnapishtim was a person from the Epic of Gilgamesh who had to do the same thing as Noah except by the order of god Enki to create a boat called The Preserver of Life. Instead of sending out one dove though Utnapishtim also sent out a swellow and a raven to be sure there had been no waters left. Then upon setting the animals free he made a sacrifice to the gods as he had kept his promise to them, and recieved immortality and a seat amongst the gods.

There are a few more stories from the Bible similar to Sumerian mythology as well such as The Tower of Babel and even the Garden of Eden. One thing that really sets the connection between the two is that both belief systems have a heavenly deity, yet Christianity only has one and I believe I know why now especially he is the way he is, and just no one wants to tell thr truth or they do not really know.

The first king of the gods in Sumerian mythology was known as An or also known as Anu, and he is the king of Heaven. Now it is very known fact among mythologists if I am not mistaken that Anu is not the king of the Sumerian gods and Aššur also known as Ashur, took Anu's place. Now if I were Anu, I would be pissed as all get out being rhe first King of the Gods ya know? At least back then anyways. But Anu's domain was split from the Earthly domain already by Enlil(Also known as Aššur) Now here is where things get a bit tricky, maybe. If An(u) got mad because Enlil(Aššur) took his place as the second king of the gods, does that mean that basically An is God in the Bible? If so, does that mean Gilgamesh is just Jesus Christ translated into the Bible differently from the Epic? We can already tell that Utnapishtim was Noah from the Bible. What else more do we need, to say that Christianity came from the Semitic Pagans we know today as the Ancient Mesopotamians?

Nabu is one of the most important Mesopotamian deities.  His name can be interpreted to mean brilliant, one-who-names, announcer, or herald. Associated with Apollo by the Greeks, Mercury by the Romans, and Thoth by the Egyptians, he was the scribe and minister of Marduk, head of the pantheon.
