another random lifesteal smp thought is like, i think the reason i like it specifically so much is bc where else do you get to see stories that fail as much as you do in lifesteal.
failed traps, confusing betrayals, the lack of conflict, the over the top destruction, the miscommunication, lackluster character arcs, stories that abruptly end, story plots that are shoved into the narrative, and so much more. so many things dont go how players intended/wanted, and sometimes they can work too well that it may not even be interesting! because of all this you get these hypocrite & messy characters and a messy storyline, and its beautiful.
i think lifesteal is at its most beautiful when things fail.
