Adhd got me by the throat.

Anyway this is my usho-plan for Ushoran.

The idea is to remove the slaaneshi symbols from the chariot, cover it in bones and gore and ghouls, greenstuff up fixed cape for the summer King, and attach his arm with a chain acting as reigns to some crypt horrors.

I feel like if Grams had been less strict with Aislinn when raising her, Aislinn would’ve been less reluctant to confide in her about Keenan and Donia chasing her.

I get that Grams was traumatised, grief-stricken over Moira’s death and scared that Aislinn could meet the same fate, but she really went to extremes to protect Aislinn, to the point where Aislinn can’t truly live life on her own terms. Is it any wonder that Aislinn doesn’t tell her the truth about what’s going on or what she’s doing re Keenan chasing her? Grams would’ve taken away the last bit of freedom she had, making her a prisoner in her own home, and she didn’t want that.

If Grams had been less strict and more understanding, then maybe Aislinn would’ve confided in her more easily and the plot of Wicked Lovely would’ve gone a bit differently (though probably would’ve still had the same ending).

Fanart of the book series The Summer King Chronicles by @authorjessowen. Rashard and Kjorn, 2 different sides of the story. Highly recommend the series! My quest to make fanart of all current gryphon books continues...

Kia by @nambroth =] Nambroth is an amazing gryphon artist, and they introduced me to @authorjessowen, who has become a friend. Nam does the covers for the Song of the Summer King series for Jess, and I'd argue that Skyfire is one of the very best gryphon covers of all time, up there with The White Gryphon. Fun fact: I found my old middle school binders, and many of them were decorated with art Nambroth drew for me or Glenn when we were all teenagers.
