TYSM! (Sorry for being so late 🙏) Tbh its because i let myself be messy LOL.

Using some old shots i set up for stuff like this from previous pieces;

I resize a lot from my sketches' parts, which im trying to get better at art so that i dont have to do that so much XD

I simplify shadows a lot, though Im trying to do them a bit different these days so they arent as bulky as what gets seen here; still simplified

I love this background trick i found last year LOL! Multiple shadow layers with reduced transparency really does look like a landscape ♡

In the beginning I made Crow's holder a brown brick LMAO. Its very intricate, so i focused on memorizing the rest of his outfit first, then tackled that brick. I can draw it fine now, but if I dont know something or have time I'll simply shapes & that saves a ton.

This trick has been a huge time saver; dont fill in corners and let a fully black layer under it all fill the holes in for you ☆ (you gotta look close at the second image, but you can see areas that are gaping in the left and filled in on the right).

That one doesnt work so well with hair, bc it would just fill in every thin lock with black, so i have to do hair strands by hand, but for most other things this works great as a quick fill.

Sometimes it sucks to not put more into a piece but honestly Im more content this way; i get more done and my brain learns better. 💙💚
